Chill vibes, location, staff, cleanliness, decor - gorgeous Loved the patio / rosemary pots and palm trees - stunning and great to have this extra space as a family travelling together. Wanted to stay longer but no room available ! Next time.... near so many amenities .... These are minor things which didn't stop me loving. The place but... No cushions on the furniture on patio 122 (next door got cushions !) Bathroom 'wet room' style means floor wet for other users in a family ... Didn't realise $38 to valet parking - thought parking was free from Booking.com site ... Wasn't sure what the breakfast / snack situation was. Went to a cafe instead. Would have liked info on free bikes to hire ahead

The place was very nicely styled, the eye rested on lovely vignettes in the rooms. The furniture very comfortable. Loved the antique silverware, loved the chairs around the dining table. The curtains filtered the light beautifully, making it a very restful place. The water pressure was amazing! The bed however is tough to get in and out of so that should be noted for people that are not very agile. I will stay there again!

As mentioned above, the bed was hard to get in and out of. The lighting could have been better in the hallway up the stairs.

Loved the vibe of this friendly hotel. Lots of lovely spaces to chill out around the hotel, complimentary drinks and library to add that extra touch. Decor was Californian cool and the art exhibited was really inspiring and added to the Santa Barbara experience. Staff were super helpful and welcoming.

We were a family of four and whilst our room provided everything we needed, it was quite cosy! Grateful for the option of other spaces to hang out when we wanted to let the teenagers have a lie in.

The location is amazing! It's close to an amazing Mexican restaurant downstairs, which made for a wonderful meal after check-in. We were also able to walk to several wine tasting and entertaining places, and super close to the beach. I loved the flavored water in the lobby; that was such a classy touch.

The only drawback is the bathroom! The toilet was high which made using it uncomfortable. The shower was also very close to the toilet so it was very cramped in the bathroom, needless to say.

Inconsistent check in personnel. First check in lady told me to contact third party to confirm my reservation. Even the room is paid and have confirmation from hotel. She was chatting and more than helpful to other customers. After an hour I asked a more experienced lady who then resolved the booking smoothly. This lady handle who also check me in the previous week. Better training perhaps?

Clean, modern hotel with two nice, but small, terraces on our floor. Lobby was very comfortable and there was free coffee (including syrups) and fresh fruitwater. Staff was friendly and helpfull.

The room was super small, we did not expect this based on the photos on booking.com. We were sharing a double queen bedroom with four people, would not recommend (one person at the time could walk in the room). The door of the bathroom did not give a lot of privacy.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms and facilities. We had a private patio which is nice. Close to a lot of restaurants, bars, pier, and ocean. The restaurant on the premises was very good.

There is no parking for guests besides valet, but we were able to find street parking thankfully. The room was a bit too small for the price. (*Good if you're just sleeping in the room, but not to spend time in the room.) The bathroom in the room had a frosted glass door which is a bit strange.

The manager & staff were fantastic from Valet to front desk and check out! Friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. Our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived early and the manager accommodated us by upgrading our room as we were late for a local wine tasting! The room was so quaint, clean and comfortable. The Santo Mezcal restaurant at the hotel is awesome with great staff. We will stay here again. Definitely made our stay in Santa Barbara enjoyable!

Great location, within walking distance of the beach/pier. Staff very friendly and helpful. Celebrating dad’s 80th birthday and left us a balloon and chocolates in the room. Room clean and well appointed with lovely seated area outside. Great coffee machine available at reception along with water machine. We travelled by train and it was about 3 minutes walk away.

The hotel is in a great location right next to the pier and downtown Santa Barbara. Rooms and the hotel in general was very clean. The hotel offers free parking.

The room we had was quite small but we just stayed for a night so it didn't bother us too much. It had a little outside space but it was a blind patio so not very pleasant to hang out there especially when the sea is 50 meters away.
