Staff fantastic and extremely helpful! We had a great view of the wharf/beach. Room clean and recently remodeled.

Being an older property you tend to hear everything.

This hotel is fabulous and in a great location to explore Santa Barbara. We had a wonderful room overlooking the beach, pier and harbour with private balcony with a beautiful sunrise every morning. The breakfast and cheese and wine afternoon is great and plenty full. Also there is a hot drinks station open 24/7. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The heated pool and jacuzzi are great to for a relax after a sight seeing day. I would highly recommend staying at the hotel when in Santa Barbara. Thank you and we will be back

Happy that daily cleaning was upon request! We don't want someone come every day, and when we needed the towels changed & bins emptied I asked at the check-in counter for that and it was promptly done. Great! Perfect that there was a washer &dryer! Thank you for not being mad at us taking the pool towels up to the room.

Power outlets were a little worn out, plugs would fall out easily, and there weren't too many outlets either (3 or so within good reach). But that was a pretty minor issue, really.

The property is walking distance to the harbor, to the wharf, to a nice beach& to downtown! The room was big and very comfortable on the 2nd fl w/ the harbor view! The continental breakfast and the wine & cheese in the afternoon were a nice touch! The staff were very pleasant and helpful! The view from the harbor rooms are lovely especially to watch the sunrise! If you want the harbor room on the 3rd fl w/ a king bed & a guaranteed bigger bathroom, you need to call them directly, otherwise it’s only a request but not guaranteed! There’s a lovely Italian restaurant next door & others nearby!

The bathroom was very small w/ a very narrow shower stall. Depending the room you book, the size of the bathroom will vary! The harbor view rooms face the street so it’s a bit noisy. The beach closest to the hotel isn’t nice, but the nicer ones are still walking distance.

Everything was perfect! The house was spotless, fresh, and very well prepared. Bedsheets were clean, everything inside was tidy and comfortable. It’s a really nice and quiet place — we enjoyed every moment of our stay. Highly recommended!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was well-stocked with towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. The parking felt secure, even though it didn't require a key to access.

The room fire alarm went off at 4:00 AM, which seemed to be a low battery than actual smoke. A little jarring but I was able to go the front desk and they came right away to fix.

Room 210 with garden view was just fine. I'm not sure I would have liked rooms in other sectors of the property, especially those adjacent to Cabrillo Blvd or over the pool.

I asked for my TV remote controll to be repaired or replaced and it was not taken care of. The remote was balky and difficult to change channels and turn off and on.

Location is perfect, close to the harbor, wharf, downtown. Rooms are nicely appointed, lovely breakfast, complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, wine & cheese is a nice touch and most of all, very friendly staff who is most helpful from Patricia the Manager to George and Patty at the front desk.

Our stay was too short!

Breakfast was adequate, but more variety would be nice. That said, everything was fresh and well supplied. The same is true for the social hour which was quite nice, but could be better with a bit more variety in the offerings. The staff, the pool & spa, the grounds, the rooms...all were first rate.

Location was great, right on the front near the harbour and the pier. Free parking and basic continental breakfast included as well as cheese and wine from 5.30-6.30 each night

As with everywhere in California, the price of hotels is eye watering - but this was comparable to others.
