Really enjoyed the location of this property. The grounds had many seating venues spread throughout the property. Upon returning from dinner, the property was lighted beautifully with many fire pits ablaze-a welcome amenity considering it was windy, cool, and a bit rainy during our stay.

Although the rooms were nicely appointed, I do wish the guest rooms had a couple of chairs for lounging. When returning to hotel after a long day on your feet, the only place to sit is on the bed itself. There was a desk chair, but not a place for extended seating. It was nice to be able to step outside and utilize the courtyard seating areas, but not really an option when it’s raining. Also, because it’s an older facility (although beautifully renovated and maintained), the walls are thin and you hear everything. Not the hotels fault, just an FYI.

Newly refurbished rooms. Small but quite comfortable. Valet Parking was quite expensive but easy. Staff were exceptional throughout our stay. Good reception area with drink and food to purchase. Location was perfect, just across from the beach. Provided a small bottle of Prosecco, free of charge for my wife's Birthday.

Walls were paper thin, and we could clearly hear the guy next door snoring. Seating outside our window was for anyone in the block. Foi d 4 people sat drinking staring into our room from 2m away. Had to keep the blinds down. Blinds didn't meet in the corner so anyone walking up the steps could see right into our room. We were offered an alternative room but it was old and dated. Staff provide clips for the blinds, which took care of the gap in the blinds. No wardrobe to put clothes.

Great Location. Room was great! Upper room, ocean view, quite large, in-room fridge. Room was near a pool. Hotel is built around Chad's restaurant :-). Room had a bathtub, not JUST a shower. Great soap, shampoo too. Two 16 oz bottles of water each day.

Had to request room service for each day of stay. Water pressure in bathtub was spotty. Temp was great. Tub drain had to be cleared by staff. Quick and once completed, no other "drain" issues occured.

My son and I had the best time here. The property is very lovely and right across from the beach, close to the pier. We swam in the smaller of thier 2 pool areas. Both are well maintained with plenty of lounge seating and clean towels. At night, we made s'mores provided by the hotel. They have several firepits throughout the property, making for a fun, relaxing evening. Their little market is stocked with lots of nice wine, beer, cocktails, and higher end snacks.There are plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance. Our room was large and updated, and the bed was comfortable. We can't wait to go back!

Hotel Milo was a fantastic stay. The location is unbeatable as it's right by the beach and within walking distance to all the most popular spots in Santa Barbara. The hotel itself is stylish, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We loved the firepits in the evening with a view of the ocean!!

The only thing we’d change is booking a sea view room next time, as we felt a little out of the way in the hotel as it's very big. But that’s on us and we’ll definitely do it in the future.

Incredible location and charm. Outdoor gardens across the street from the beach, where people are strolling and riding bikes. You can borrow bikes or beach chairs from the hotel. Walking distance to the pier and State street. Perfect for soaking up Santa Barbara’s special beachfront ambience.

No elevators as this property is a collection of charming Spanish style old motels, renovated. But the valet will help you carry your bags up. Valet parking was $32 per day so the second day we parked on the street.

Great location. Right across from the beach and pier. Well kept resort grounds and facilities, and very charming. A bit older feeling but we liked that about it. Just around the corner from some GREAT restaurants and bars.

The staff did not seem overly friendly anytime we interacted with them at the desk. We were enjoying a drink by the fireplace outfront and being respectful, and they came out at 11pm promptly with no warning and turned the fire places off. They didn't ask us to leave though, and again didn't give warning or ask how long we may be. Why they didn't just let us finish our drinks prior to turning off the fire still baffles me. They were there all night and could have just waited to see us leave.

All the staff were so friendly and helpful, and the room was so nice and clean! Great location, especially if you're into birds, as a lot can be seen at Ambassador Park, which is right next to the building my room was in! Great blue herons nest in the trees there! Lots of nice places to hang outside & enjoy the view.

There are definitely other hotels that are similarly nice, but a bit cheaper. You're definitely paying for location, but if you're willing to splurge I think it's worth it.

Our honeymoon at The Milo was absolutely perfect! We were surprised in our room with complimentary sparkling wine, chocolates, and a beautiful decoration of towel swans and rose petals. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay truly unforgettable. The staff's service is FANTASTIC, exceeding all expectations with their kindness and attention. Impeccable cleanliness, comfort, and location. The best choice in Santa Barbara! We wholeheartedly recommend it.
