The staff was very helpful and friendly. I really liked the breakfast which had a lot of choices. We were there for three nights and did not get tired of the food. The happy wire hour was a nice surprise. The breakfast staff were both very accommodating. The gentleman went out of his way to make sure we had cream cheese. Loved the location!

The happy hour could be a bit longer or perhaps be changed from 4-5pm to 5-6pm. We missed the first day because we got there a bit late. The Inn is a bit dated but the location made up for it. Perhaps the music can be switched up a bit. The oldies are good but after 3 days a switch would have been welcomed.

Great location right by the ocean and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very fun vibe. I’ve stayed at several of the moderate priced hotels within a few blocks of this property and this one had the nicest complimentary breakfast and the cutest decor.

We were on the first floor and the noise from people walking above us was pretty significant. In addition, people walking along the street right outside our room was a bit loud. The walls were also a bit thin. Luckily I sleep well to white noise. I would ask to stay on the 2nd or 3rd floor next time.

It’s an old inn right across the beach. Room was clean and spacious. Building hallway, lobby and surroundings are clean as well. 24/7 Coffee, tea and hot chocolate available. Lobby was bright and welcoming. There was also wine, cheese and fruit in the afternoon. Breakfast is good. Free parking.

Building is a little old and outdated in style. Check in was supposed to be 4pm but they had us wait for our room to be available until 5pm, they did not even contact me that it was ready like they said they would, I had to come to the front desk to ask if the room is ready since it was already 5pm. I even informed them of my estimated arrival prior to coming but still we had to wait for us to be able to check in when check in time is 4pm per regulation. There was also a funny smell in our room when we arrived. Elevator is old too, it works slow and it’s rusty.

Our stay was good for the 2 nights we stayed. The room was clean and roomy. The only thing that caught us off guard was our room was right along a busy street so we heard loud music from the cars going by or people talking as they're walking along the sidewalk. Parking was really good. Liked that they had wine, cheese and grapes in the lobby after 4pm. Kevin the gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful and courteous. We had asked where we could get some good tacos, he gave us 3 options even told us exactly where they were at. One of the options was Lilly's taqueria that place did not disappoint. Family owned, will definitely go back there. Now for the breakfast at Beachside Inn. The hot food, scrambled eggs were okay but the sliced sausage couldn't figure out what kind it was and not good at all. Chicken satay for breakfast?! Really? They had deli ham, turkey and cheese sounds like lunch. A good variety of breads to toast, yogurt and cereal. Great OJ and coffee. The gentleman at the front desk was also very courteous when checking out.

The breakfast room was right across the hall. My handicap parking space was right out the door. The hotel's location is everything. The beach is right across the street, and there are many restaurants within a block of the hotel.

They only give you two towels, and you must ask for more daily. They didn't make up the room for the six nights we stayed there, but that was OK because if we needed anything—towels or garbage baskets emptied—we just talked to the maid, and she took care of it.

The kind size bed was extremely comfy! I was sad to say goodbye to it! It was cold in Santa Barbara but the heater kept us nice and defrosted. Cozy room.

The staff was amazing since the moment i came in contact with them. i got this room as i had bought concert tickets for my spouse as a pre 10 year anniversary gift. the location to the venue was only 10 min. Ellie helped me set up some cold beers for my partner and he was more than happy with this. The breakfast was good the next morning! we wished we could have enjoyed the pool but we only came for the concert. Thank you again for everything.

the a/c although new it wasn't cold enough but they did send up a fan which helped. I will say cleaning could be upgraded as the bathroom door had black finger prints and some of the furniture needed a lil tlc. the cabinets and the boarders also need a lil touch. Other than that it was overall great.

I had a lovely time at the Beachside Inn. The location is perfect — just steps from the beach and right across from the marina. Parking is spacious. The room was clean, large, cozy but a bit noisy from the road before the midnight. Staff were friendly and helpful

My only disappointment was the breakfast: served with paper and plastic dishes, and the food selection was poor.

Lovely hotel to stay in as a family of four. Large room with separate room with sofa bed for the kids. Room very clean and in good condition. Location was great and an easy walk to restaurants and to the harbour area. I didnt realise that breakfast was included which was a great surprise - it was very good. Reception staff very helpful.

The kids room hadnt been made up which is fine, i can easily pull out a sofa bed, and there were sheets/cover in place but we had to request an extra pillow and towels from reception. I had to check that we booked for 4 people!

Checking in was smooth and very welcoming. We stayed at the 2 queen bed park side room. The room was immaculate .Beds were very comfortable. They provide hot Breakfast. They had various types of protein and breads. Very delicious. I did miss the wine and cheese hour. Hopefully I catch it next time. Location was ideal because it's located right across the street from the pier and beach. Walking distance to restaurants and stores. Parking is Free and ample. The room had balcony facing the park and little bit of the harbor. Staff were so nice. They know what good places to eat. They recommended one restaurant nearby called Flor de Maiz. The front desk receptionist was so right. The food was so tasty and service was amazing. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

I was fully aware of this prior to booking. The pool heater was down. Since the weather was a little cooler, I chose not to go to the pool. Just be aware of this. Regardless, I still enjoyed my stay. Everything was accommodating. The pool situation didn't really bother me. There is so much to do in SB. I wouldn't have time for the pool
