Loved the charming breakfast area and offerings were very good. Location was perfect, one of the reasons I booked the Hotel. Staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. Lots of good restaurants nearby.

Location…very clean unit.

Very easy to notice that toilet in our unit and the one above us had a leaking toilet flapper..this causes water in toilet tank to leak out and then refill itself. Time cycle varied between 10 to 20 minutes..very annoying and caused loss of sleep..and presumably water usage for complex. Due to busy vacation schedule, we pretty much only slept at Spyglass. No daytime hours spent there. We informed Ft. Desk on check out…he was understanding and will have maintenance check it out…other then that it was all good. I do have to mention the e mails asking for addl.monies to guarantee us getting a balcony unit.which I had already paid for when booking was disturbing. Is it booking tactic or Spyglass?..then asking for monies to add addl. checkout time..not appreciated.

We loved the charm of the hotel. The front desk staff was awesome. Always felt like they wanted to make our stay as comfortable and pleasurable as it could be. They recommended a restaurant that was exactly what we were looking for in a neighboring town. Quick walk to the wharf, State Street and The Funk Zone.

The only thing that I wasn't expecting was the size of our rooms. I knew we were getting a single queen bed but I didn't realize how small the room would be too. However, we got over that real quick. Because we have never been there before and were there over the Thanksgiving holiday, we didn't have the option or knew the different room options they do have.

We were upgraded to a king suite with a couch, table and chairs, and a full kitchen which was excellent to have! I also thought the complimentary breakfast was very nice, and included some protein choices.

Our particular room hadn't been redone or upgraded in a while, with older looking carpet and furnishings, plus there was some need for refinishing the walls and woodwork in the bathroom. We noticed some other rooms were modernized inside.

The property is clean and inviting. Our room was spacious for two adults and we felt the amenities in the room were good. They have breakfast options in the lobby in the morning and happy hour in the afternoon. There's coffee and tea available in the lobby during the day. Check in was easy and the staff is friendly and helpful The atmosphere was calm and we were able to relax The walkway to the rooms is open air and it has a nice garden area

This is something I overlooked when booking but it is outside downtown SB. We walked to downtown which was less than a mile. It's just something to consider based on your activities

Sam and Micky were so helpful. They provided a lot of ideas for us to spend our 4 days. Each one of their recommendations were perfect. Could not have had such a wonderful trip without them. The breakfasts were fresh and tasty. The pool area was clean and a nice way to spend the afternoon after some wine tasting. The location was walking distance to the harbor, downtown and the wharf.

Lovely property, very clean and the staff were so helpful. Our room was cleaned on request within a couple of hours and the facilities in the room were great. Breakfast was lovely!

The pillows were very soft (a very minor point!) The area around the hotel is also very dark with few street lights, so sometimes felt a little uncomfortable when walking back to the hotel at nights.

Great staff on the front desk and the breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Good location, a short walk to the harbour and downtown. The bed was so comfortable. Lovely little touch of champagne in room as my husband was celebrating his birthday

We had a room that overlooked the front so not a great view. Rooms are looking a little tired.

Extremely clean. Amenities were rather basic but all functional. I asked for a full-size ironing board, and it was instantly delivered to our room. The location was nice; the hotel was full/near full -- so others like it, too.

Somewhat dated. Rooms could use an upgrade. Showers, for example, should have ready bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner like most hotels of this grade.
