The hotel is beautiful but what impressed me the most was the staff being with reception. My check in time was at 4pm but I was way early and really hoping for earlier check in but I didn’t have my hopes up , and what a wonderful surprise when I asked the receptionist was so nice and attentive he immediately checked me in and thank God because I had a very tired toddler. Valet parking was amazing and very helpful with giving us directions . What an amazing experience I had here this set the tone to my families road trip we will definitely come back.

Staff was exceptional in every aspect, place was very clean and quiet. Cost of stay was a bit high in comparison to other hotels based on size. Overall happy with my stay at Montecito inn, definitely will be staying there next time.

Valet parking was unable to park my vehicle because of a manual transmission. It's been the first place were I had to park my vehicle on my own. Parking was a bit limited, and had to wait a bit to make room for my vehicle.

Room was ample and charming. Whole feel was generous and old-world cool. Gym was more than sufficient. Service was responsive and attentive.

Window was open in my room when I first checked in. That's not a problem at all - it was helpful. But the window itself was slightly broken or deteriorating and I was worried about the frame breaking.

Location Location Location. Doesn’t get any better than this. Old property with lots of charm and character. Old fashioned Otis elevator was fun. Old carpet was less fun for the asking price of a night’s stay. Key didn’t work the first go around. Front desk corrected with a smile and good attitude.

THIN walls. Baby next door. I could hear most of the conversation and the baby crying.

Really cool decor and a very distinct style. Nice pool that was open later than usual.

The breakfast setup left a lot to be desired. Set up in a little bitty lobby without adequate tables and chairs. Don’t understand why this wasn’t offered in one of the facilities that had tables for you to sit at. Would have been much nicer.

Great location in walkable upscale ‘village’. Pool and hot tub good for family, good fitness room. it’s an old hotel, cozy and charming and a bit worn but clean. Beds very comfy, tho room clean is by request only. Noise at nite wasn’t a problem for us. Friendly staff. A big plus - our 3 generation fam of 5 had adjoining rooms with connecting door!

You’re paying for the Montecito location so don’t expect a bargain. Rooms - at least in our older part - are cozy with some pretty beat-up furniture and fixtures. And yes, bath rooms are very tiny, one person at a time - in ours the door scraped the toilet seat when it closed!

Great parking, charging, and staff

bathrooms in the 2 queen bedroom, rooms were very small and difficult for two people to occupy at the same time. It wqs good that they had two bathrooms, but both were single occupancy style narrow bathrooms.

Nice room, valets charged my e car each night! Pool was nice, if a little small. Close to Butterfly Beach.

Extra money automatically charged for food I didn’t want. Food was mediocre and overpriced in the restaurant. We came to SB partly to check out different restaurants. Didn’t want to pay for a restaurant that we had no interest in.

It was in a good location near the beach and close to the highway. The hotel was clean and efficient and good value.

It had noisy roadworks outside which was unfortunate. Also a busy Highway the other side, but you didn’t notice it.

The Hotel is located in an excellent location near many fantastic restaurants and coffee shops and also just a shot walk to the beach
