It's not the first time we stay at this hotel. It's a nice hotel for business travelers. Absolutely classical type of a business hotel. It's located close to U79 metro station. With U79 train you may get directly to Messe Düsseldorf without additional getting on/off. The hotel offers a very nice and quite diverse breakfast. The Campanile Duisburg Hotel is located right at the beautiful river embankment and it's a nice place to walk along.

So it would be great to have some additional furniture in the rooms (at least a chair or an arm-chair) and a kettle for tea or coffee brewing would be highly appreciated by the guests, I believe.

The bed was comfortable, and I liked that you can adjust the heating for your own room. You can bring up plates, and other thing in your room if needed. The staff was OK, the cleaning service was always kind, among the receptionist there were very nice and less nice people. The place is approachable from Duisburg Hauptbahnhof by bus. It was 3.20 euros and I travelled 3 or 4 stops. The area is at the end of the city centre. We didn't quite like the city, but the hotel was comfortable. The lounge was spacious with comfortable chairs everywhere. I could stay there while I was waiting for my flight after checking out in the morning.

Carpet on the floor, it is not very good in a hotel with lots of people, especially not for a bedroom, where everybody is walking in shoes when checking out. We had difficulties with the TV connection to the mobile phone. Once we could use it, and then never again were we able to connect :(

The staff was the most wonderful I've ever encountered. I made an error while booking but the KINDEST staff made everything right for me and made sure I had a quiet room. I could never thank them enough! Also, while checking out the kind lady at the desk clearly wasn't prepared to speak English but I could just tell she gave me her everything and wished me a good day and you know what? I DID have a good day and I've thought about her and the coworker who booked me in in the middle of the night serveral times since. It was just an amazing experience overall and I would love to stay there again even just because of how nice the people were

A pretty much nice hotel in the heart of Duisburg. It's located quite close to U79 metro stations, therefore it's a nice choice if you are planning to come for Düsseldorf Messe show like Medica. Close to the hotel you will find a beautiful embankment, Rathaus and some other Duisburg Altstadt places of interest. Also, you can find a lot of shopping opportunities, restaurants and cafes in this district. A pretty much nice continental breakfast is offered for the hotel guests. A good modern hotel for a very reasonable price.

Breakfast can be a little bit more diverse. Also, the hotel rooms are quite small and tiny. There is no single chair or armchair where you can sit. There's no safe and very few places where you can keep your things in the rooms. The floor carpet was sometimes not very clean from the previous guests - there were lots of stains even in the corridor hallways.

We've stayed here before, it's within easy walking distance of the town. It was a Monday night so a lot of places were closed when we looked for a restaurant for dinner. Most of the places that were open were kebab shops but we found a very good Turkish restaurant (no alcohol). Clean rooms and helpful staff. The dining room was being renovated when we stayed but you can get a very nice cup of coffee and a cheese roll for breakfast at a little newsagent very close to the hotel. It's opposite the tyre place under the multistorey car park. Lovely friendly lady in there and everything tastes very fresh.

Parking is not good. Very few spaces at the hotel (though they seem to reserve spaces for people with disabilities). There is a multi storey car park opposite which is 16 euros a day or there's on street parking but you have to be away by I think 9am. The hotel tell you all of this, unfortunately I didn't read it lol.

The location is very close to the city center, the room was nice. Quite good for the price. It is clean. Bed is comfortable. They provided enough towels.

The property says that they have free parking but there is literally 9 parking spots which is always full. Maybe it is a personal preference but I don’t like when the bathroom have curtains, it is not as hygienic but the shower is quite big so it was not a big deal in this case.

The breakfast was good and a very good value for money. The staff was extremely friendly and the property was very good. Nice large room with very nice and large bathroom. The entrance and breakfast area were comfy and friendly. The hotel is reasonably central, but a good 10 minute walk away from the real centre of the city. So, it was also nice and quiet, even if it reasonably centrally located. Excellent value for money!

Clean and spacious. Fantastic staff. Modern decor. Lifts/elevators were rapid. Breakfast selection very good.

A smell emanated from the bathroom occasionally. The dining area is too small. It became very cramped on some mornings at breakfast. The hotel advertises free parking but this parking is extremely limited! It’s not until you book that this information is given to you. Paid parking is the other option. Air conditioning did not work. Although it wasn’t super hot the weather was humid. I had to open the window to cool the room at night which was not ideal given that the hotel seems to be beside a nightclub.

We were given an accessible room as requested as I am disabled. The facilities were far tastic and the room was more than adequate for my needs.

The noise from near by was loud, that said, it's not the hotels fault.. And.. To the rooms credit, close the windows and it blocked out the noise completely. (the only real downside was no air con, it was 30° and hot. But this did not ruin our stay and wasn't the hotels fault.)

The location is close to the city centre. It still looks a little bit dilapidated in the area but work is progressing to beautify this part of town. The hotel is great. Modern, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful and caters for all tastes. There is a tram-stop and bus-stop within walking distance. Parking was ok. There is a multi storey car park across the way as parking is limited.

The disabled parking being used by able people was disappointing and could have caused issues. However after asking drivers to move on two occassions by showing my blue badge, I was able to park.
