No breakfast required, so am unable to comment. Love the location, a handy shopping centre next door. Very central n walkable to town centre. Lots of local eating options nearby. Good sound insulation n lovely view of river n surrounds. Hotel staff are very polite n helpful, though English not generally their first language. Room was spacious n clean apart from the inevitable mould in the grouting of the shower ( needs to regrouted). Good clean bed n bedding. Would be good if they have spare blankets as we find hotel quilts ( at all hotels) too hot to sleep under despite adjusting the aircon. Other family members experienced the same issue.

The main areas n corridor need some maintenance ( ceilings esp ) n a heavily stained chair outside lift foyer on our floor needs cleaning or replacement. We had no hot water on arrival that night but it was rectified the following morning so we were happy with that. They should provide better quality toilet papers n at least a spare roll. Would appreciate some vacuum cleaning in room for longer staying customers.

The location is very strategic. It is attached to a shopping mall with Mcdonald's, Coffee Bean, Big Apple, Watson & Guardian Pharmacy, Giordano, The Store, Poh Kong, Mr DIY, Levis, etc. It's very near to a night bazar (Friday-Saturday), ample (basement) parking, and various eateries within walking distance from the hotel. The tv has multiple channels and the sound proofing of the room is also not bad. The room aircond was great, spacious room, has an iron & ironing board, a big size (king) bed, a bathtub, buffet was sufficient.

The cleanliness may not be the best but may not be the worst.

Comfortable stay and spacious room. Located in a mall, easy to access food and marts.

The hot shower/sink not working well. Took so much time only to feel luke warm, not hot. As instructed, we opened shower earlier at least 5 minutes but still cold (i opened at least 10 minutes) The indicator red/blue for hot and cold shower also seems wrongly labeled. Water only gets a bit warm when pulled at blue side.

So for most Foreigners traveling to Muar if to do work, and i was no exception, i was recommended to the hotel i booked a small suite because the cost was really nothing More, i had a HUGE room with great WIFI it was all there a great shower clean bedding and Towels a tv with English tv on, location was excellent with all your favarates macdonals KFC subway all close by but some great local restaurants also. The hotel is part of a shopping complex with some great shops a mixture of western and local i would 100% recomend the hotel there was nothing wrong with it, by the way breakfast was very good

nothing really i had to chase my shower round the cubical it was that powerful it move around bit not a problem

The staff at the Classic are wonderful. The breakfast is OK, (I've seen it improve over the last couple of years so they are heading in the right direction). Location next to a shopping center is a plus as there are very convenient shops and restaurants.

Some floors have been renovated - those are nice. On this stay I waqs in a "yet to be renovated" room which was a bit shabby. Need at least a small gym for exercise!

Town centre, easy access

Time for refurbish, stains at carpet, time to change for Bed & mattress, bed legs dah patah/tercabut. Semasa check out, housekeeper told receptionist tht i’ve moved & rejoin the single beds. They didn’t check tht i’ve requested for 2 single beds instead. Bad experience for me..

Best hotel i always booking while i need travel to Muar.

The only problem is i dont know is because of the hotel didnt maintain well or water leaking reason, the corridor of the hotel look very old and wall looks dirty. Others then that, all of the hotel was good.

The bathroom needs attention. Mouldiing needs to be changed. It is very bad and unsightly. A simple task will make the bathroom looks good A shower curtain will keep the floor dry. It is slippery after a shower

I like that it is near shopping area and is more central. easily accessible to shops and eatery

the room was smoky and there were cigarette bud in the toilet and the toilet smell smoky. also there were tissue paper stuck on the door peep hole. not sure why. so if someone knock on our door we are not able to see who is outside. also a paddle of water in the toilet and can be dangerous as the floor is slippery. this also the same as with my other 3 couple friend room. paddle of water in the toilet. luckily I only staying there for 1 night.

The room is so spacious with big window.. hardly to get a room like this nowadays.. ❤️ it.. clean comfortable n quiet..

A bit confuse bout the parking redeem.. coz the hotel is located in a mall.. you hv to get redeem first at the reception each time be4 u leave the building..
