Our stay at Urban Tales was exceptional. Everything about the place exceeded our expectations—from the designed interiors to the stylish accessories, the prime location, and the outstanding service. As a family of four, we especially appreciated the layout: two separate spaces with two bathrooms provided the perfect balance of comfort and privacy. The apartment is just a short walk from one of the city's most vibrant areas, filled with restaurants, cafes, and sights. It was so convenient to be able to return to the room for a quick rest and head back out without missing a beat. The customer service deserves a special mention—responsive, attentive, and genuinely focused on making our stay as enjoyable as possible. We couldn’t have asked for more.

We had a great stay at Urban Tales. The location is excellent — right in the heart of the lively Psiri neighborhood. The staff, was incredibly helpful and responsive to every request. The check-in process and room access via the app were smooth and easy to use. We stayed in the Luxury Quadruple Room, which was very spacious and comfortable. A heads-up: Psiri is known for its vibrant nightlife, so some noise is to be expected — but it wasn’t anything too disruptive, and in a way, it’s part of the experience. Overall, the quality of the hotel and the service more than make up for it.

Fabulous location- close to the center of athens and great for exploring. Clean rooms with comfy beds and amenities. Very responsive host and allows you to leave baggage for the day while you go explore. Would definitely stay here again!

A bit of a noisy area- not an issue for us as we know this area is known for its nightlife and we slept well after a big day of traveling, but if you are looking for somewhere silent at night this is not your place.

This was one of the best accommodations we ever stayed at! It absolutely exceeded our expectations, The host was very friendly and always responding very fast. They even offered cleaning service, changed the towels, and everything was well equipped from bathroom, kitchen, the amenities… it was even far better than some of the 5* hotels. Can we give more than 10 points?? ☺️🥰

Absolutely nothing!! Even the noise from the street did not really bothered us, as after long days of exploring the city we were so tired and slept like babies 😆

It’s where the Athenian locals come to relax, enjoy & party… experience the real culture of Athens here 3. It conveniently avoids all the tourist traps of Syntagma Square 4. Walking distance from Kostas, Diporto, Stani, central market, Plaka, Acropolis, and many more Athenian cultural institutions 5. The management is super friendly 6. The rooms are very clean 7. Value for money!

1. Psyri Square is where the locals party, and they party hard 😃. So if you are a light sleeper, then you may want to search for a quieter location. 2. The management is available & responsive via WhatsApp 24x7, but if you need 24hr in-house reception then this may not be the hotel for you.

Location was perfect! Located in a really nice, safe and cosy area in Athens with lots to do and a lot of places to eat/drink. Also pretty close to 'Monastiraki' metro station (easy to go to the airport & other places from there)! We also really loved our room and would book this stay again just for the room only, the bed was really nice/soft! Room was decorated very lovely. I found out our plane lost my suitcase when I arrived in Athens airport (the plane left a lot of suitcases on the island we left from due to weight problems) & our hotel host did absolutely everything to help us out! He helped calling & contacting the airport and kept us up to date, which made us feel a lot less stressed about the whole situation! Would absolutely recommend this place!

I stayed in a very charming loft in this hotel. The space is rationally divided, with a kitchenette and a bathroom downstairs and another bathroom upstairs (YES!!!). Water pressure was fantastic (for shower and washing). There was definitely a lot of attention paid to details, such as the contactless soap dispenser, kitchen equipment. The staff were awesome, very attentive without being intrusive, and very helpful. They stayed in touch and even kept track of when I was away on excursions to clean the place without disrupting my activities. They also arranged for transportation to the airport when I left. The location is right in the middle of the action, which did not bother me, but be prepared to be entertained by music during the weekend nights (until about 1 am on Saturday). Otherwise the only noise may be that of tourists chatting while passing by. Location-wise, one will never starve around the place, and walking a couple of minutes toward Monastiraki one is regaled with a picture perfect view of the Akropolis. Metro to/from airport is also at Monastiraki. Because this is a loft and the stairwell to the upper level is rather narrow and turns as well, accessibility to the sleeping area will be an issue for people with mobility problems. Also, I think that no more than two people (couple) could lodge comfortably in the space. But there may be other types of rooms in the hotel: given the extreme kindness and availability of the staff, it is worth asking directly for information. Note: bakery just outside- opens Mon/Sat at 6:00, very convenient for breakfast.

Not a dislike, but something to remember when one is in the place: like many other places in Athens, including at least one important museum I visited, the toilet flushes but no paper can be thrown in.

We had a lovely stay! The appartment was super clean, the owner was super friendly and available for everything we needed before and during our stay, and the location was super cool and central. Next door there's a really good bakery and lots of bars, coffee places and resturants in the area. We were travelling with a baby and the place was really suitable to our needs in that regard. We will definitely come back in our next trip to athens :)

The place was a bit noisey - from the street and the neighbours in the building... but we were expecting that since we understood this is typical to places in the center of athens.

I loved the room interior design. Also very clean and comfortable. The location is very good, right in the area with restaurants and bars. It wasn't so noisy at night, but you have ear plugs provided if you need them. The staff was friendly and helpful. Easy check in, check out on an app.

There was some smell in the bathroom, but if you let the fan on it will dissipate. You need wifi or data to use the app to enter the location so beware to have your phone's battery charged.

The location of the property is fantastic. Right downtown in Psiri near all the restaurants and bars but away from the noise in a quieter area. A great little local bar next door and a perfect place over the road for breakfast. The rooms were very comfortable and well fitted out and we stayed in two different rooms over two separate stays. Tassos and Sophia were great hosts organising everything we needed including airport transfers. Highly recommended.
