I loved the clean big room, huge bathroom and the beautiful hotel. Very nice staff

At check-in, I verified that I had booked a reservation 1 year in advance and had paid through booking.com a week in advance. (Paid $461 for 1 night) I left my debit card for incidentals and was notified by my bank, in the middle of a wedding reception, that I was charged $594!!! I had to go to the desk to question this and they said it would be reversed. However, it is a day later and the charge is still pending. This is not right and I do not have access to my cash. I also had an extra valet ticket added to my bill and had to have that adjusted. The car belonged to a relative and not me.

The hotel was beautiful. The room was a nice size and the bed was comfortable. One of the staff members, Robert, was excellent. We had a stink bug in the room and he came immediately to remove it. We had to call the front desk for ice and he brought it quickly and opened a jar for us while he was there. We had brunch in the restaurant. The server wasn't very pleasant but the gentleman who brought our food was so hospitable. My friend asked for crispy bacon but what he brought was not. As quickly as she got out the sentence, he took back the bacon and returned a few moments later with what she wanted. We had our makeup done at the spa and Amber was amazing! She did a great job and we enjoyed sparkling wine with great conversation while she did. We went in and out a few times and every valet who retrieved my car made us feel welcome. It was a girl's night out for me and my roommate from college, with an overnight stay and they made it really great! I would recommend the hotel and would stay there again!

We had a stink bug in the room. We could have done without that. LOL! The server at the restaurant was not very pleasant. She was the only downside to the experience. Even the bell hop who held our bags while we had brunch in the restaurant made us feel welcome and that they were glad to have us there.

Only stay 1 night but no issues with anything.

The Hotel Du Pont was a very comfortable, centrally located hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. It's a tad worn around the edges, but still holds much of its old glory. I particularly liked the formal dining room and the spacious rooms. The hotel was clean, comfortable and so quiet. Great choice and worth the expense!

Could use a little spiffing up here and there (new coat of paint or lamp shade)

Overall a great hotel. Good staff comfortable bedding, great housekeeping. Great location in downtown Wilmington. My room was large and well stocked. Everything was well stocked and as you would expect.

The AC in the room wasn't the best and didn't work well but it wasn't too bad. There was also visible mold at the vents. The restaurant in the lobby was also overpriced for what the food was but it wasn't bad, probably better options nearby.

I booked 2 rooms- when i arrived was told only one room booked- even though had confirmed twice- the mix up seemed to be last name Feinberg used for resevation- but doesnt make sense that they knew about one room and not the other- under Sidorov. Were not particularly helpful- or friendly - i.e "welcome back" ...once Manager had to work it out.

Overall the stay was good. The main bar we paid $24 for the burger and the French fries were a disappointment. You need to do better here if you expect to satisfy your valued guests. Beautiful space the main bar.

Location was nice, easy to walk/very short ride share to lots of restaurants; king deluxe bathroom was amazing!

First room we were booked in key didn’t work, had to go back to front desk to sort it out, but was given upgraded room as replacement

Pricey a Lil but still a great experience. And I truly believe on 24 hrs rental vs. the traditional practice of 16 hrs. Enjoyed it. It was my wedding night. Thank you all.

The Hotel Dupont is an iconic property. It lived up to and even exceeded our expectations. They have managed to preserve the original style without seeming worn or overly dated. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional.
