I like the convenience of the hotel and the location. And how easy it was to find the room. The hotel is very easy and accessible for short visits.

I did not like that the booking app or the hotel did not make it noticeably clear, for first time hotel visitors, that there would be an additional $50 holding fee added to the original price. I am just thankful I had the extra funds on my card! But at least I know now that ALL fees are not automatically included. So hopefully no one makes that mistake of only having the exact amount of the original balance on their credit or debit card. Other than that, no complaints.

The front desk person (Jason) was not professional. I asked to check in after 3pm and his reply was" to be honest the housekeeping is moving slow and I don't have a room of your type available " He didn't look in the system just dismissed me. Then I said I want to purchase a drink and his response was " to be honest you need to walk over to the corner store, it's cheaper " I again said I wanted to purchase the drink and he became flustered and asked someone else to ring it up. That person also checked me into my room and did not provide any excuses and was kind and courteous. Jason should not be at the front desk working with guests he is not very professional.

The front desk service and the resteraunt did not have half of the menu items available however the staff was nice and kind about it.

The property was great it's BOOKING.COM who mess my family whole trip no reservations in the hotel property can't get to speak to anyone from Booking.com until next day it was just a mees never will ever book through Booking.com

BOOKING.COM IS WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE YOU FAMILY STRANDED DOUBLETREE said it's always a problem when people book through them

Nice location, clean, friendly staff

There were people in the hallway between 2-3am loud. Yelling, screaming, banging on walls & I could hear them walking or running back & forth. It was very hard to get any rest because of that. Idk if it was staff or guests but super inconsiderate of them

Great location within walking distance of the train station and close to cafes, restaurants, bookstore, etc. Clean, comfortable facilities.

It would have been nice to have had free breakfast, but there were lots of options nearby.

The location of the hotel is in a vivid upbeat part of town close to shopping and cultural experiences. The room I stayed in was quite romantic.

When I asked the staff for new bedding I did not receive it. The night shift staff were kind and professional however the staff the next day were a bit different.

Everything was excellent, especially the food, omg. Was up for only a day,had to go to Philadelphia to lay my brother to rest,and get back tong Island Va ,to prepare to lay mama to rest,the 19th

Friendly staff and comfortable bed what more can I ask for.

Some of the stuff is a bit out of date and miss the pool but overall it’s a good place to stay at when visiting Wilmington.

The AC in our room was not working and we only figured it out once we went to bed around 9:30 at night. They sent someone to check in out under 5 minutes and since it could not be fixed rapidly they switched us to a room 2 doors next door. We didn't have to go down to the lobby they came to us with new keys. It was very well handled I was positively surprised, I was expecting to sweat through the night.

Pool was closed for maintenance, but it was mentioned on the reservation, I just did not notice it.

Location was ideal for the reason we stayed.

Wasn't expecting to pay to park there. That was the only negative about the whole stay. Would still come back.
