Loved that you got a condo-like feel (we had a 2-bed, 2-bath, fully equipped kitchen and living room), for just a little more than a regular hotel room. It was extremely clean!!! Liked that the hotel provided beach chairs, umbrellas, and bocce balls, and pickleball equipment (pickleball court directly across the street). Easy walk to all the Clearwater restaurants.

Close to beach, but not on the beach. You had to walk through a public parking lot to get to the beach. Not a big deal and wouldn't detract me from staying there again. Rooftop pool was nice, but small. You had to pay daily for parking. Cleaning service is only offered upon request. Fine by me as I do not like housekeeping going in and out of my room on a daily basis, but others might not like that.

The location, room, cleanliness, and staff were excellent. The food and drinks at the pool were great, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely stay here again.

While the tv has a thousand channels thru Roku and a few apps (netflix, disney, etc.), it did not have basic channels such as NBC, ABC, CBS, ESPN, etc. We were unable to watch any sporting events in our room. We could have added our own app that we have service to, such as ESPN +, Direct TV, etc., but you required a PIN to add apps to the Roku device, and the front desk wasn't allowed to give this out. If we had known this ahead of time, we would have brought our own fire stick, etc., to be able to access these channels.

Super clean, nice two bedroom suites very close to the beach, kitchen living room, wonderful and two balconies. Nice to have a lounge on the second floor with coffee and tea complementary the rooftop deck on floor five is very nice in the pool.

The only thing I didn’t like about this day was they allow dogs which in itself is fine, but I had to complain twice people and the dogs in the room and the dog barks for hours on end. For $500 a night, it should not sound like a kennel. And if you have a baby like we do, it’ was difficult to put the baby down for a nap. The staff was very attentive. I have to say they immediately called the guest with the barking dog however, it did be continue to be an issue.

The hotel was clean, in a good location, and overall, we were satisfied with many aspects. However, in the evening, when we tried to do laundry, the dryer didn’t work. So, we called a staff member, and they did the laundry for us in another vacant room. But we had to pay a tip for that service, which made it feel like we ended up paying more for the hotel. Also, we couldn’t use the swimming pool or the spa, which was disappointing.

It was super clean and right next to the beach. Also loved having a washer and dryer in the room. My 6-year-old loved checking into the room which had a bag of homemade chocolate chip cookies

The room with the twin bed had a big mirror on the wall facing the bed. Bad feng shui. I slept in the room because my son was afraid to sleep in it and I had nightmares. Also, the bathroom was kind of far from that room. There was no security key entrance so anyone can pretty much walk in and go wherever they wanted in the hotel. Most hotels require a security key to use the pool and the fitness room. The room key security system was a bit of a nuisance.

The Avalon Club is an amazing place! It far exceeded our expectations, we had only booked one night there but we wish we stayed longer! The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, the apartments are really spacious, well organized, and very clean! Super close to the beach, and you can borough towels and beach chairs, it’s very convenient! We really loved our stay at the Avalon and highly highly recommend it! We will definitely come back again! :)

It said the pool was heated but when we went there it didn’t feel like it was really heated. The temperature in Tampa when we were there was cold though, so it probably didn’t help the water staying warm but maybe increasing a bit the temperature of the pool would be great!

Love it, However nickel and dime for every little thing. I drove truck, so I asked if I rented a golf cart could I charge it was told yes but then some other person tells me I need to pay for the as well 35 per day when you got me for my truck and when I secured a perfect spot so not to take up 2 spaced when I left it was gone. I paid it we are good but really, I paid over 2,000 for a week to chopped by a person or rule that's bull, drinks at pool side please never heard what was being served. 2000 for a week I should has Tito's or Jack. I cod bring my own but no..please easy up

No top shelf, no assigned spaces and nickle dime us guest, no breakfast 😉

This hotel is a top-notch. From the moment we walked in , we felt the calmness and comfort that we needed for our vacation. The receiving area smells amazing . The staff were exceptional , Kudos to Karen and the other front desk personnel, and to Nieves and her team from housekeeping. (Sorry for not remembering all your names but you really made our vacation great. Thank you! ). They have the most comfortable beds. Our unit has a full functioning kitchen, with oven stove, coffee maker , dishwasher , a big fridge, toaster and lots of kitchen stuff that you can use. They also have a washer and dryer . They provide detergents and dish soaps. We were at the top floor and had both the bay and the beach view. Beach front location was a bonus. It is close to Pier 60 and the restaurants are nearby . They also let you use their beach umbrellas, chairs , paddle boards and beach toys for kids. Thank you again. 😊

The loud sounds from the AC closet in our King Bedroom but we were able to deal with it. We were all happy and tired from swimming everyday so we did not really had a hard time sleeping at night with that loud AC sounds. 😊

The only concern is when you have multiple guests with more than one car the parking can be challenging unless the Avalon staff are able to accommodate. The facility only has one parking spot per unit. However, in our case they were able to provide us with an extra private parking spot for fee, however, we felt it was better than paying for a less secure public parking spot.

The staff are top notch. The bar manager Evan was awesome, he made the rooftop patio experience for us. He taught us how to play cornhole, had great music going, was extremely friendly and his service was great. Front desk staff were kind and very helpful as well, we were early due to our travel situation and they watched our bags and expedited having our room cleaned so we could check in early.

Could use a hot tub and would be nice to be allowed to have drinks in the pool area.
