The ocean view from the room. The parking space. And there was plenty to do within walking distance. I did not have to interact much with the staff, but from what I did they were helpful and courteous. Also, the elevator is just a normal elevator, although it might be a bit old. Other reviews about these two things are overcritical I feel. The room was huge. Giant wall to wall window to let in the sunlight and take in the view. Small kitchenette with a sink, mini fridge, microwave, and a small set of dishes. There was a safe, an iron and board. Plenty of amenities. The location was great.

The smell of the room was a little off-putting. Like cleaning chemicals, but not scented ones. The construction going on next door was loud at times. Your parking pass ends the minute you check out. I assumed it would count for the whole day.

Need more options, maybe a waffle maker. Just not a fan of all breads and pancakes .

Every night we had to go and complain about kids at the pool drinking( underage) and wasn’t even staying at the hotel. I really like this place and have been coming for the past four years now, just not happy with how open it is to the public to just come swim and just hang out. But other than that it was great. Staff was very nice, food was ok but a waffle maker or something like that would be nice for the one who don’t like pancakes. But thank u so much for having us and hope to be back next year.

I was doubting in booking this hotel after seeing all the negative reviews but thank god I ignored and decided to book. Room was clean, staff was amazing, location was perfect!

The hotel was outdated and could use a serious makeover. To have a parking space is a plus and the staff was very helpful and friendly!!! But the rooms were clean and the location and view were amazing!!!

Local youngsters climbed over the fence to use the pool but not in a good way. Drinking, drugs, throwing empty bottles besides the pool and worse… Staff told it was a local problem in many hotels… We didn’t see them again the following days tho👍I guess the staff fixed it…

Was clean ,no bugs, perfect location, only issue was the elevator doesn’t work and climbing 4 flights of stairs is not for the elderly. I was there 2 hrs before check in time and they wouldn’t let me check in yet and when I went back to check in at check in time, they said everyone else checked in before me in order to get a lower floor. HUH? I think they already had my room picked for me and wouldn’t change it even though I told them when they called to confirm my reservation that I had to have a lower floor.

Location and beach were excellent. Loved sitting on the porch looking out to the ocean.

My daughter is a paraplegic. She is in an electric wheelchair and the room was not equipped for her. She couldn't get in the bathroom at all. That was very difficult. We had to move one of the beds and dresser just so she could get to the living area. It would be great if you could make 2 rooms into a handicap accessible room. We love staying with you but it just doesn't work for us.

LOVED the Closeness to the beach and the views!. Pool was great. It is an older hotel so it's not fancy what so ever, but it met our needs. Was scared with all the bad reviews, but it turned out better than expected! Would stay again.

The patio door wasn't working right, so it was hard to open and close. Having to request housekeeping if we wanted it (not a big deal, we kept the room clean and requested more towels and TP at the front desk). Wish it would offer guests umbrellas and chairs for the beach like other hotel/resorts.

Old hotel but great. Personal stuff very nice, they are in front desk 24hrs. Check in was at 3pm but they let us check in at 12.30 since our room was already cleaned. Room was good and clean. Room has AC, hot and cold water in bathroom. Hotel has a pool that works 9am to 9pm. Clean but it could get dirty in the afternoon/evening since usually they are kids using it. Hotel breakfast was good, just what is necessary to start your day (bagels, already made pancakes, some pastries, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, coffee, juice, yogurt, milk, cream cheese, jelly, surup, milk or half&half). Hotel parking free. The location of the hotel is amazing! Just across the street of the beach and between 2 of the main streets of Clearwater, full of restaurants and bars.

The only thing I didnt like is that we didnt have a small fridge or microwave in the room. You gotta upgrade the room to suit to have those. Although there is a free ice machine in the hotel so we just use a bucket to put ice and get our drinks cold. They dont have cleanning personal everyday at least you ask for it 24hrs prior but you can ask for more towels or toilettes in the front desk and the people there are always down to help you.
