The staff was super!!! Some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met.

Booking.com suggested it was beachfront rooms but there are ZERO oceanfront rooms at this hotel!!! Had to pay an extra $40 per night to switch to a room on the side of the hotel so we could at least see the water and not a parking garage…very misleading.

Great hotel with a private beach, nice outdoor pool and hot tub.It was a fun place to stay at an affordable price.It has free parking and plenty of restaurants nearby.What really excelled was the staff.Joyce (manager) was exceptional. Housekeeping was available but we opted out but was given clean towels and sheets whenever we asked. Our stay was for a month and anything we needed we could ask for.Loved the live music coming from the next hotel.Beautiful sunsets over the gulf was seen from our room and balcony. Overall our stay was wonderful and would recommend a stay at Gulfview.We will be back next year.

Location was within walking distance of tons of shops and restaurants. Private beach area is nice but can get crowded as it's not a very big section and I noticed the hotels next door kind of overflowed into the same area.

The name "Beachview" is a stretch. They are the only hotel on the beach that doesn't have any direct beach view rooms. Our view was a parking deck next door, but you can lean over the rail and see the beach. Also, our room had a strange smell. It's was clean but I can't explain the smell. The water also seemed to have a strange smell. Nothing you can't just deal with for a couple days. I'll also add, the ac seemed to struggle keeping it cool. The placement might have been the issue as it was blocked kind of by the dresser and TV. One last thing, there's only 1 elevator which is quite small. Enough room for 1 family mainly and is a little slow moving.

Location is amazing! Right on the beach. You can walk anywhere within a mile or mile and a half. Staff is always nice.

Very old, mold on ceilings. Over priced for the condition but not the location. You’re trading one for the other really. We travel a lot my personal opinion is if the hotel isn’t fully booked and upgrade to a partial view for free is appropriate and they won’t especially if you stay at that location on a yearly basis given you can stay at nicer places for the same price. I like the beach location but now that my daughter is older and likes waves more and doesn’t like coming at all actually I will likely just move to the Hilton on the beach. Not willing g to do upgrades is a real kicker when Ai know your hotel isn’t not full.

This is our 3rd stay in here, we really love the location and private beach, and the price is not high like any other place around.

All rooms need manutence, the carpet it's start to smell bad because the humidity and cabinets are falling apart with rust, so it just needs a little more attention.

Great location. The private beach was wonderful, as we had young children with us so it's smaller waves and fewer people made it feel safer for my grandchildren. It was easy to dash out to the beach or pool at any time. We really liked the balcony view too. The kitchenette was a great plus. The staff was very friendly and helpful and always available when we needed new towels or anything. We were there 6 nights.

Not the hotel's fault, but we were there during Hurricane Debby. Quite the adventure! Two days of rain and wind put a damper on our trip, but we enjoyed watching the hurricane from the balcony. Having a kitchenette was much appreciated, as it was hard to eat out during the storm.

Very well located, the pool area is great, the little beach in front of the hotel is cuuute! the kitchen space in the room was ok too and the staff is super friendly. The view from our room was nice too!!!

The room had a very strong smell, like old or that the carpet and curtains had never been washed before… our towels had hair on it, but we did not report it to the front desk and slept with the windows opened and used our own stuff.

Free parking and no resort fee. Located on a private beach with new beachfront pool with access to a private beach. Rooms have fridge, microwave, toaster, 2 ring cooker, coffee machine and coffee provided. This hotel has been recently updated new carpets, paint, curtains etc. A family run hotel with a lovely family vibe which is very comforting and relaxing, made feel extremely welcome. Highly recommend this place and would definitely return.

No in room safe - that's all. Otherwise loved everything about this hotel.

My grandaughter and I stayed here!..I absolutely loved it..the staff so friendly...very clean the beds very comfortable...it's a private little area that's not loud...very relaxing!..definitely would stay here again!...there were so many bad reviews after I booked this that I stayed stressed...after getting there I was so upset people were giving this place a bad review!...no it's not the big hotels...let me compare to city vs. Country...it's a country vibe...with the southern hospitality...simple and relaxing!

I have no complaints...the staff was so friendly...
