The location is spectacular, within walking distance to Clearwater Beach and Gulfview Blvd. The jolley Trolley stops right in front of the building. The room was spacious for a family of 5. The kitchenette included a mini fridge, toaster, microwave, coffee pot, and dishes! The housekeeping staff was awesome and stopped by every morning to offer cleaning services and fresh towels. The pool area was awesome, and there were many pool floats available to use. Laundry facilities were available and vending machines also. Perfect hotel for a family vacation on a budget!

We were concerned about adjacent construction noise since I was planning to do some computer work in the room. We called the Manager about this, and she upgraded us to a better suite, at the more quiet end of the hotel, for no extra charge. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I discovered a lot of negative reviews people write are often not indicative of how most of the rooms are. For example, several said they found bugs in the room...we found none. (we did not eat extensively in the room either, which would attract bugs). I simply kept the room blower running on constant all night, and slept very well! Any construction noise on the nearby new tower was barely heard and only during the day. A great value, and a great location!

A pulldown shade or additional drapes on the window next to our bedroom would have helped, as sometimes night time headlights would shine in a bit. Not too bad though.

The room was comfortable and had a kitchenette with tableware, a microwave, a coffee maker and the fridge had a freezer. It also had a small dining set with two chairs and a futon for extra guests. The room and bathroom were very clean. The entire hotel was outdated and would benefit from a renovation. But the location was awesome and the hotel is at walking distance to the beach.

Since this is an old hotel, the look is outdated and had a funny smell outside. We also didn’t like finding the elevator all wet because some guests who had been in the pool went up to their rooms dripping with water.

Location is the best! Directly across from beach! It's an older hotel;not as modern as others but, it has wonderful staff! From the front desk down,everyone is pleasant, helpful and smiling! They work hard to keep it clean and to see guests happy. Though totally out of their control, the construction on the new hotel nextdoor was bothersome. We have stayed here a number of times in the past and look forward to returning again soon.

The construction nextdoor was bothersome. It was an early morning wakeup call daily. Sadly, that's not within the control of this establishment.

Location-we parked when we arrived and walked everywhere. Very easy walk to the beach. Salty’s was good for breakfast. Four beach towels were provided. Room was quiet, but we could hear some construction from right next door(not bad, though).

Be aware that the studios are in the back corners, so there is no balcony and no chairs like you see in the pictures. The room arrangement made it impossible to open the bathroom door more than 90 degrees. It was also bright due to two walls with windows and only blinds as coverings. I would upgrade to the one bedroom next time to avoid those back corner rooms!

I thought the hotel was so cute and comfortable. The size of the room was perfect for me. I loved the furniture too. Full size dresser and nightstands and a wardrobe for hanging clothes. The size of the bathroom was great and I loved the kitchenette. The fridge is bigger than an average fridge. Wonderful experience and very affordable and had a heated pool.

The pillows were a little hard

It was so nice. The front office greeted us as we arrived and they were friendly. The room was divided from the living room space. 2 TVs was amazing when you have kids. It was easy access to everything if you want to go shopping or visit other attractions. The beach is right across the street so we was able to go back to the hotel and relax and then go back to swim. If you need extra towels, rags or anything we just bagged up our dirty ones and sat them outside in a bag and they would come by and give you clean ones so it was nice not having house keepers bugging you or having to go down and ask for new ones. They had pool towels in the room (can’t use for the beach). I will definitely stay here again when I go back. Oh and the best part I usually dread hotel beds but their beds were really comfortable!

The parking lot. It was a tight squeeze in some spots having a big vehicle but it was nice to be able to park and walk everywhere.

Perfect location close to south beach. Parking available next to the building. Heated pool for the kids.

The rooms are pretty small and not equipped with cooking facilities (this was known up front).

Was easy to find and had plenty of free parking.Just across the street from the beach.The kids loved the pool and I loved that it was shaded most of the day.The room had a great view.We were able to walk to most places which saved a lot on parking fees.

The only thing that would have made it better would have been breakfast.The food next door wasn't bad but not a big menu.I guess if you were going to drink it was good just not for our family.

The room was a nice surprise, as I honestly didn't expect to see it like that, looking from the outside. The location is good, near the beach and a short walk to the Pier. The bed is super comfy, and the extra bedding was a nice option.

There was building work going on next door to the hotel, obviously not the hotels fault, but be mindful if you're a light sleeper.
