Nice place to get away but the extra charges for bech umbrella, parking and every little thing is a tad over kill. The room wasn't cheap. Resort fees nonsense, just charge enough for the room from the beginning and give the customer the choice but adding extra fees for things that should be taken care of in the cost of the room makes 4 star resort seem a tad bit ghetto in my opinion. Nickle and diming people after already charging 500-800 per night is just greedy for no reason..it's what's wrong with the world. Places like that and the people that own them , just down right greedy.

To many kids , breakfast buffet food was cold

The beach and the pool were great. The pool wait staff was very friendly but very busy, they could have used some help. I didn't like the fact that you had to pay extra at the beach for an umbrella, The Sand Pearl is not cheap and that just seemed greedy / petty.

I reserved and paid for a room with a beach view, what I received was a room that looked at the garbage compactor and delivery area for Frenchy's. The smell was not pleasant. Yes, you could see the beach beyond that, but it was hard to ignore the smell.

This is a beautiful property right on award-winning Clearwater Beach. The area is still finalizing recovery efforts from the 2024 hurricanes, but everything at the property itself was back up and running. Staff were mostly knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is pet friendly, and we brought our dog with us. Our dog was gifted a small care package with treats, a pet bowl, and a branded pad for a bed. That was a really nice touch!

Elevators were slow. Despite being a pet friendly hotel, the pet relief area was not conveniently located. While this is a gorgeous property and a premium is to be expected for a beachfront location, the nightly rate still felt pricey. Beach chairs were extra and sold out early (also to be expected, but still). The pet contract states that a staff member is required to come and walk through the room before checkout/departure. The front desk person knew nothing about this.

This resort was very luxurious. The staff was accommodating and the rooms were very clean!!! The private beach was well maintained and easy to access. The location is perfect, easy walking access to everything. The resort had a lot more i just did not have time to enjoy it all.

The balcony door was very difficult to open, and the city view was not great. The rooms were not soundproof. I could hear everything in the hallway. Also, the parking was $40 per day and valet only. But overall, it was a good experience.

The room was recently updated and very beautiful. The toiletries provided were both plenty and great quality. The free water in the room was restocked multiple times per day. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms, facilities and public areas were spotless. The quality of the food in the on-site restaurant is really good. Almost all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach was postcard perfect. The hotel honestly surpassed my expectations on every front and if you have your mind set on staying in Clearwater you shouldn't even consider other hotels in the same price range.

This should in no way, shape or form count against the hotel, but due to the hurricanes this year the pool heating wasn't operational so it was unfortunately a little too cold. I would've preferred self parking (not because of the fee, but I just like the freedom that comes with it). Lastly, I think the hotel is world class quality, it's an absolutely wonderful place to stay, but we weren't big fans of the surrounding restaurants and bars. They stand in sharp contrast to the quality the hotel offers. Next time I'll stay at the hotel we're probably not even going to bother trying food outside of the hotel.

The staff at the Sandpearl was very genteel. It was old world elegance. The hotel was in the heart of the main section of the town. One night we went to the Opal Sands for dinner. It was far from everything, had more of a business hotel feel to it, seemed to lack personality, and the food was ok but the menu was very limited. The staff at the Sandpearl's restaurant remembered what we ate every single day we were there even if we did not dine two days in a row. When a cell phone was left at the table the staff personally found us in the hotel and delivered it to us. The Sandpearl's room was gorgeous. Ocean front is very expensive but is worth it if you can afford it.

The resort is beautiful, so clean and well maintained! The staff was over and above the norm these days. Breakfast was lovely with really friendly, exceptional servers.

Balcony directly across from large, loud venting system with less than appealing views of the roofing systems. Both locks on sliding door broken upon arrival. Time stuck in malfunctioning elevator. However, the staff was good about quickly addressing these issues for repair and did so very pleasantly.

The restaurant for dinner was excellent..We dined at the bar..The bartenders and servers could not have been any better.. They added to our dinner experience.. The location was Wonderful..Most of my time spent at the pool. Front desk was exceptional.. Lunch at the Grill was just as nice...

I think that you could not charge for umbrellas on the beach...

Very nice property with private beach, but the food is very overpriced and drinks are very very overpriced and the pool is always very crowded. Not to be able to swim comfortably. And the hotel has only two restaurants which is not that great One restaurant inside and one poolside Grill We paid $1800 for two nights which I thought was crazy

Overpriced

The location was great. Right on the beach. Could walk or jump on Trolley.

The pool. People would go down at 7am to claim chairs and not come back for hours. You were not allowed to have your own drinks at the pool or on Beach(had to purchase their drinks). Not allowed to have a little speaker on the beach or pool.
