Beautiful hotel with an excellent location.

The location within steps of the ferry and bus stop were ideal. The seaview from our balcony was beautiful. It was very walkable to the tours we did, shopping, restaurants and even to the quaint neighboring town. Our rate included a breakfast that offered a wide variety of items.

We loved our stay and there isn't anything we did not like. It did not bother us at all but if you're a light sleeper the location of a our room facing the main street could have felt noisy. We enjoyed hearing and seeing the hustle and bustle.

We booked a junior suite for 4 nights. The first night we were allocated suite 30, in the roofline with a tiny window and balcony. This was not really what we expected from a rather pricey junior suite. Upon telling the staff, we were moved to suite 4 on the first floor, with a large balcony d. This was a truly exceptional experience. The hotel itself was outstanding in every way!

Perfect location, especially if you don't have a car. Walking distance from boat mooring and across from bus stop. Around the corner from main town square. Ideal for people with walking difficulties (no steps or stairs unlike everywhere else in the town). Staff very very helpful. Room number 8 is beautiful, spacious, very clean, nice bathroom. Beautiful small terrace on 1st floor.

1st floor is a little noisy… Central square has people ALL THE TIME… And at 4-5 am cleaning vans do their own noise.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Residence in Amalfi. The location couldn't be better - just a 5-minute walk to the ferry docks and right in the heart of everything. The convenience of having the beach just across the street was a definite highlight. The staff were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room exceeded my expectations in terms of size and cleanliness, making my experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast was tasty. The breakfast area was perfectly located overlooking the beach and the coast. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Residence for its prime location, attentive staff, and comfortable accommodations.

The location cannot be beat! It is close to the main shopping square where the Duomo is located and right across from the beach where you can rent 2 lingers and an umbrella for 20€ for the whole day. We rented a car since we were doing a lot of traveling around the area and there was a paid parking lot about 0.3 mi away. Also one morning we had to leave before breakfast to catch a ferry in Naples and the kitchen staff prepared us breakfast sacks to go!! The staff was all very responsive and nice.

Since it is on the main road between towns and across from the bus stop it can get noisy but this really didn’t bother us much. We had rooms in the front with an amazing ocean view and when we closed the patio doors it was pretty quiet.

We loved our stay at the Hotel Residence for our honeymoon. It is a great location right in the center heart of Amalfi, right next to the ferry dock. The staff was so friendly and accommodating always. The breakfast was always appreciated and generous, we did not expect it to be so much and so good! We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast.

Residence Hotel Amalfi is elegant, n well decorated. The room with seaview balcony so nice n the bed is very comfortable. The staff is nice n helpful, especially the server in Sensi Restaurant. The hotel location is perfect, just in the pier, with bus n ferry traffic just next to your door. The seaview is incredible.

The air conditioner cannot turned lower temperature, or it will auto turn off.

Unbelievable location, service, views, room, etc. It is a cute boutique hotel right on the water, with it's own character. Even though its right in front of all the chaos and tourism, when you enter the hotel it feels like you are away from it all. It was perfect.

Beds aren't the most comfy, but does the job.

Loved this hotel. The perfect location. Right across the street from the beach and ferry port, bus pick up. Close to shops and restaurants. It had a roof top bar with beautiful view of the sea. It was perfect. Highly recommend.
