Great location (in front of all shuttles), clean room and large bunk bed

The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest and the place is missing common areas

Each bed has a locker assigned. The kitchenette is very basic, yet it has all that I need. The terrace is pleasant. I could pay by card with no extra charge both the stay and the tour. The receptionist was very kind helping me with my cash struggles because the ticket to Yaxha can only be paid cash (Tikal/Uaxactun can be paid online by card on the official websites). The hostel is located just in front of the bus stop in the island, which is your open-air prison (especially at night, don’t dare to go anywhere else as it is dangerous, although much less than any other part of Guatemala). The hotelier was responsive to the messages on booking.com app prior to my arrival, which is very important for the organization of the stay: there is nothing to see in Flores itself, you have to use this town as a base to explore the temples in the area, for which you need to join a tour (Tikal can be reach by public transport, but the tour has a fair price). This hostel offers guided tours to Tikal and Yaxha, but not to Uaxactun (don’t go to the sunrise Tikal tour: it’s super tiring and at dawn with the fog and low light you will not take good pics and will not enjoy the place; also, don’t go to sunset Yaxha tour: at dusk temples are in the shadow and it is nice to go also to Topoxte which can be added only to the morning tour).

The beds have no privacy curtains, which was the only flaw. I give 10 anyway for the kindness of the receptionist. I must warn fellow travellers that you would never imagine how complicated it is to change money in what is actually a very touristic town like Flores. There is only one money exchange (with bad exchange rates) in town which you will find closed for the arrival time of busses from San Ignacio and from the tours to the temples. Some hotels also change money and I found one with a kinda fair rate, but the point is that they all change only USD, no other currencies which left me in big troubles (I literally ran out of all the cash and no withdraw possible from ATM). Go to Maya Mall to buy food paying by card freely.

I love this hotel/ hostel a lot! It is on Flores island close to everything,restaurants,bar,grocery store. The staff were the most accommodating and friendly. I have experience in all the hostels in guatemala and mexico. I would say top 5 in about 20 hostels for the customer service of the staff. They always answered all my questions , They accommodated me like rarely a hostel would do! Seriously amazing 👏! ( so sorry, I can't remember her name, but she works at the reception she talks good english! She deserves to be an employee of the month!!!🥇) she went above and beyond to help with any situation i had on my trip! Also, the rooms are super clean, I love the rooms (I was in a dorm) and had a bathroom in the dorm. The kitchen is basic but has everything you need to cook! I highly recommend that hotel/hostel 👌 ✨️🤍

Great location and stunning property! There is a beautiful rooftop and common room to socialize and enjoy spare time. No kitchen in the Hotel which could easily take this property to the next level. The beds in my shared dorm were comfy. The room was clean and the bathrooms were great. If you plan on booking some tours the buses park directly outside of the hotel. You are right by the water and the main heart of Flores. I would return!

No kitchen. Also staff did not inform us that no blanket or towel was provided. I know some people who checked in late after staff were finished that ended up having to sleep without a sheet. This is an easy fix.

I liked that I got a room to myself. I read a lot of reviews about noise I didn’t hear any noise from the street but my room was towards the middle not facing front perhaps that’s why. It was very quite. Room was nice with outlets and private lights in each bed and curtains. Internet worked great. I thought reception was cold and short in attitude. The guy at reception didn’t offer help to carry one of my two luggages. Just waited for me follow him with it all. Most dorms are up a flight of stairs.

Great location, great price! Stayed in dorm. If you are doing tours, its a great spot as a lot of the tour company/buses leave from basically right outside the hotel. Basic amenities but perfect for the price.

Because it is located right where the bridge is, there is a lot of traffic coming and going and from my room, it was loud at night but the second night I just used by ear plugs and slept good.

The location Shuttle to other places is right next to it which is perfect if you are waking up early to get a shuttle Money exchange next door If you prefer quieter hostels this is a good place to stay Free towels

Would be nice if there was a kettle and mugs upstairs to be able to make a coffee for those waking up early to get the shuttle or who are going on an early tour

Perfect location of the hotel - the bus station is right in front of the hotel. The tour operator (tickets to Flores, El mirador...) is also right in the hotel. There is a supermarket and an ATM right next door. If you take a cab driver called "Napolion", please give him my regards from Flo and Christian in Vienna and give him a cigarette ;)

Beautifully central, they had big bay windows that you could sit and enjoy an apple or your granola and watch the sun reflect over the water and think about the day ahead The staff were lovely and helpful. There was a stall across the bridge that did really great, very cheap street food

I love how you have a private fan, and even in the dorm rooms there’s a private bathroom.

It can get quite loud as it is on the main road. My first night I was in a top bunk overlooking the road and I swear I could see people looking at me from the road lol
