Everything was wonderful. From the hosts who tried not to miss us anything, to the accommodation unit, the cleanliness, the breakfast, the pool. Also, the rest of the food served is very good and cheap. We were lucky enough to meet the owner, Paul, a very nice Australian, as well as his Scottish wife, who also stayed at the villa for a few days. Do not look for a driver or tour guide if you make a reservation here. Nyoman is the best on the island. In other words, I strongly recommend it.

There is no wine at the restaurant. Just beer. But Nyoman took us by car when it was necessary to the store where we bought wine. Attention, there are no shops where you can buy wine or beer near the accommodation.

It's a quiet plot tucked away down the village road ending at the beach. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean, and well appointed. The cook/s were fantastic and literally cooked up a storm. It's a small property with 6 villas and two pools - designed well to have three rooms to one pool, which is great. Small groups of family and friends can have a great time. If you are looking for the buzz of night spots and parties, this is not it. Location is close to Padang bay and Ubud. Lots of fun activities during the day, and retire to the sound of the ocean in the evening. The black sand beach is unique, and it's a great place for an evening walk. Having been to Seminyak, Nusa Dua and Ubud a few times previously, this was a new experience. Bali never fails to impress!

The room that we were in was adjoining the local homes at the back. So early mornings were noisy with the sound of radio or music that was loud. And the roosters right behind our villa were going nuts too!

Everything!! The villa was awesome in every way. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and cool. The pool was clean and food was good value and tasty. Our boys are still talking about the breakfast. We loved the remote location with quiet beach out the front. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We absolutely loved our 3 nights here and look forward to coming back soon.

Imagine a slice of paradise with no one around except a wonderful staff taking care of your every need with flowering trees everywhere you turn and ocean waves as a constant background sound. Now multiply that by ten and you will get a glimpse of the experience that we had.

Great small property with everything you need to relax. It is a bit of a distant place, but it is right next to the great beach. The beach is not suitable for swimming due to the large ocean waves, however, it is an excellent location for strolling and you will only encounter locals there. It was a great place to get back to relax when we used it as our base camp to get around Bali. We had a car, but you can rent a bike or take a taxi as well to get around. The staff was excellent and helpful in every situation. BTW, someone might say that the ocean is sometimes a bit loud, which is true and something you should expect if you want to sleep next to the ocean. We have liked that experience. :-)

Very quiet location and very easy to find. We could lay in bed and listen to the waves crashing.Everything we wanted. Excellent staff, couldn’t do enough for us. The cooking and choices were outstanding. There is nothing around so pack snacks and drinks Bintang and soft drinks available at a small cost. Shared pool between 2 villas - 2 pools in total You have access to the small kitchen Neighbourhoods cows right out the front on the beach

The front beach really needs to be kept cleaner A small fridge and kettle would be really great to have in the room.

this was one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed - not just in Bali but around the world. The rooms and facilities were beautiful, amazing views, incredibly quiet area away from the busy tourist spots. Staff was fantastic, I wanted to cancel the rest of my trip and stay here for another week. I had one small issue with ants but they resolved it immediately and made sure it was not a further problem.

Definitely the best and most relaxing place we have ever stayed. The room was nice (bit underwhelmed on arrival) but it was the whole package that was amazing. Open air bathroom was unique and special. The unit next to us was empty (4 units in total) so we had a cabana and swimming pool all to ourselves. Breakfast was great as was the menu/food for lunch and dinner. Well out of town so no tourists. We really enjoyed watching the local children on the beach outside the resort playing football and flying kites. Fantastic staff. All I can say is special, special, special.

We stayed there 10 nights and everything was so lovely! The friendly & professional staff, the funny dog Blacky, the beach, the room, the toilet, the food, the pool! Definitely worth it and I will come back there for sure! A nice surf break next to the place, another one further south, I have been running every end of afternoon on the black sand beach. Far from tourist area so it is awesome!

Seriously nothing!

We had an unforgettable time here! Everything was just perfect - the hotel is clean, the staff is lovely, and so is Blacky 🐾 The food was delicious, and the whole vibe was peaceful and relaxing.

Yes, there’s a strip of ocean-brought debris between the hotel and the ocean (nature does its thing every night), but once you cross it - you’ll find a beautiful, clean beach waiting for you.
