We were a family of five (kids aged 9, 11, and 13) staying for one night on our way to Ubud. Our room was the Tembo Family Suite — spacious (three bedrooms), spotless, and very comfortable. The buggy drivers were always friendly and eager to help, making it easy to get around. During our stay, we enjoyed an elephant ride, the night safari, a couple of entertaining shows, and feeding the animals. One highlight was relaxing in the pool while watching zebras, rhinos, and elephants just a few meters away. Dinner was pleasant, and the staff went the extra mile by preparing a pasta dish outside the buffet menu for our kids, who weren’t too keen on the other options. Breakfast was also good, and we loved sitting by the windows watching the animals being fed. The night safari was a fun experience — it starts with a guided walk through the zoo, then moves on to riding in caged vehicles to see some of the big predators up close (tigers, lions, and more).Also watched a fun fire dance. Tip for future visitors: Budget extra for activities like the elephant ride and night safari, as they are not included in the room rate. Also, note that the night safari ticket includes dinner, so plan accordingly.

We came here for our daughter birthday and she enjoyed the stay very much! Swimming at the pool with animal view was fun! Breakfast with the tsavo lion was memorable. We got to watch all the animal shows, fire show, enjoyed the waterpark and went for safari journey twice! (all included)

We booked the the wrong room! 😵‍💫 If you want balcony with animal view then don’t stay at family suite (we stayed at Kifaru Suite with garden view only ☹️) Please book 2 swala or twiga room if you need two rooms so you may even feed the animlas from balcony.

The family suite room balcony was too far away to see animals roaming. Only saw the pool. Wish it offered view similars to swala which is priced cheaper. Twiga you pay lesser but you get a nicer view of animals roaming round. Shouldve booked 2 twiga rooms instead for my family of 2 adults 2 kids one toddler and one baby.

The venue was terrific

The website menu was discontinued with a new a la carte in its place,this meant that I couldn't enjoy what I thought I was going to get. THE WORST WAS A GENERAL MANAGER TELLING STAFF OFF IN FRONT OF A RESTAURANT FULL OF GUESTS.I WAS EMBARRASSED AND SHOCKED BY THIS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNACCEPTABLE DISPLAY!!!!! WHEN I CHALLENGED HIM ON HIS BEHAVIOUR HE SAID"ITS OK THEY CAN TAKE IT"!!!HOW ARROGANT! This thus downgraded my score from brilliant to ok.

Clean pleasant room, soft bed, bright bathroom with a window, good workplace, lovely balcony for breakfast.

1. Poor Wi-Fi in the room, for the price it's unacceptable. 2. It is also unacceptable that you keep a lion in a small aviary behind the glass of a Tsavo Lion Restaurant and toilets in a restaurant. It looks disgusting, people are overeating in a restaurant, they go to the toilet, and the lion is locked up. Such entertainment should not be in the 21st century. I hope this aviary will be closed forever, and the lion will walk around the large space of your beautiful park

Our room view was good, but outside was so humid, that in the evening our window didn’t show through. Animals in the park were amazing. Dinner was tasty and lions shows the people, who is the boss in this park. Staff feels animal-friendly. There was lot of things to do in the morning, but i don’t like any animal shows, even if they are animal friendly and made of ethical considerations. Breakfast was abundant, but one of us got Bali belly 🫣

Animals were not in cages, but i still have some ethical questions and mixed feelings. I understand that animals in Safari parks are used to people and we don’t bother them that much, but why people should sit elephants back, why you letting people sit them backs? It would be lot of nicer if people just can just watch animals their normal habitant.

Our stay was absolutely outstanding! The rooms offered breathtaking views of the animals, and everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Dining at Tsavo Restaurant was a highlight — enjoying a meal with a clear view of the lions was an unforgettable experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional, especially Miss Bintang, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I highly recommend this place 100%, but be sure to stay for more than just one night to truly enjoy everything it has to offer.

The room has a nice view of animals roaming and got to feed them with carrots by throwing over to the enclosure. Recommend for family or couples who want to spend day in Zoo and enjoy the trip slowly. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Some improvement needed are, 1) the shower drainage seems to be clog when I started showering it will tend to flood, which require the next person showering has to wait for the water to drain off. 2) the doors are abit rusty which made it hard to open or need to slam the doors in order to close them. 3) minor pee smell in the toilet when checked in. (Got to sit down to poop/pee to smell it)

Aircon making so much noise. Hardly sleep at night. We Booked breakfast with giraffe. Only had one giraffe. And staff used our basket of carrots to make the giraffe come and we fed the giraffe. By the time our breakfast came the giraffe was far again. When we asked for more carrots we were told to pay extra 200,000 rupiah. There were four of us and the amount of money we paid for this extra activity. We should have one each basket to feed the giraffe

Everything. Omg what a hotel. It was amazing. The park was exceptional. The experience was fantastic. The pool and views of the park and animals was like being in Africa. The staff were amazing and so helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of different cuisines for every nationality. The lodge we stayed in overlooked the park and omg we fed the animals in the morning with the carrots that were provided in our rooms. It was our anniversary and they decorated our room for us which made it more special and memorable. The safari was out of this world and the keepers really look after the animals exceptionally. You can tell the animals love their keepers and are very very well looked after. Everyone worked exceptionally hard to make our stay 10 out of 10. Thank you everyone for everything. Hopefully we will see you again sometime. Best experience ever. Once in a lifetime opportunity for our family.
