THE BEST OF THE BEST. Komaneka is pure paradise. I'm 59yrs who has travelled to 35 countries and covered 20 States in the USA, so I have stayed in a lot of hotels. Komaneka at Keramas Beach was amazing. Their attention to detail was faultless. We stayed for 30 days and the quality of service did not slip once throughout our stay. The Komaneka's philosophy is to welcome you in as if you are family, but this is a big understatement. We were treated like Royalty for the whole stay. Every member of staff knew our names as we met them for the first time. All the staff greeted us when passing anywhere on the grounds, from the maintenance, cleaners to the restaurant teams. They worked constantly cleaning, sweeping and pruning all the lush tropical vegetation that surrounds the complex. The villas are perfectly designed, so nobody overlooks you from any angle or direction, giving complete privacy. They are equipped with big walk in showers and separate free standing baths. Big walk in wardrobe/dressing area and large comfortable beds. We had a view of the sea from our bedroom at the front and a view over the rice fields from our private infinity pool at the back. The onsite restaurant had an extensive breakfast and all day dining menu. We also visited 4 outside restaurants within a short walk along the beach to the east. Komaneka is positioned directly on the beach at Keramas. It has volcanic black sand that sparkles like diamonds in the sun and moon light, its totally magical. Komaneka is 45 minutes taxi drive to town of Ubud to the north and 45 minutes to the city of Denpasar. It was a perfectly secluded retreat for me to escape my busy life in the city of London. The spa treatments were excellent with easily to book availability. The warm swimming pool was an impressive 33 mtrs long. The management have pieced together a wonderful respectful team. I truly believe that most top London hotels should send their staff to Komaneka for training.

First off all, the team is incredible, very friendly and 24 hours willing to help with whatever you need. We stayed 10 days and had a great time. The accommodation was outstanding clean and spacious. Great place to relax and forget about the rest of the world

Although they offer a huge variety of dishes on their menu, most of the dishes come with a lot of garlic and onions and from our point of view the cook would need a training using different herbs etc. Again, whenever we asked to cook in a certain way, it was possible to influence the way they prepared the meals. Driving to the capital (dining, shopping) is one-way minimum one hour, even more.

The villas have a gorgeous view of the ocean, including watching the ocean waves from the bed. The beach is beautiful, with Black shiny sand and beautiful strong waves. The beach is not suitable for swimming, but it’s very beautiful. The staff are excellent and work hard to make customers comfortable. When we got to the room, we felt it was not very clean, but the staff came right away and cleaned/washed every spot and changed all sheets.

There are harmless lizards (which is normal in places with trees) but still uncomfortable. No lizards were inside the villa, all were in the external area. The villa pools are not heated and uncomfortable to swim in.

Komaneka at Keramas is a beautiful, luxurious and well-maintained resort. The grounds are peacefully nestled amongst rice fields and tropical vegetation, and the guest area is set directly on the beach. Our private villa with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean was stunning, to say the least! This is the perfect location for anyone looking to escape, relax and restore, especially if you like to surf, as a break is directly accessible from the resort. The staff were lovely and accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. The on-site spa was also reasonably priced and the therapists were high-quality.

While the Timur restaurant menu options and complementary breakfast were generous, the quality of the food at this one-and-only cafe/restaurant at the resort didn't meet our expectations, for the price to stay at the resort. We feel the food could have had more flavour and finesse. The complementary yoga and afternoon tea could be better advertised throughout the resort and in the villas. This offering was only shared with us verbally at the start of our stay. On one of the days I was the only guest who attended both the yoga class and the afternoon tea afterwards, both of which I thought were great value!

I went there with my wife on our honeymoon and I totally recommend this hotel, we stayed there for a week without leaving the resort not even once (ten out of ten). The food at the restaurant is outstanding and the portions are decent. Regarding lunch and dinner, we loved the prawns, steaks, burgers, pizzas, etc... Also they have variety of delicious soups and appetizers. For breakfast, they have different types of eggs, fresh fruits, fresh juices, coffee, waffles, pancakes, etc and they taste amazing. Really hats-off to the amazing chef. The service and waiters are super friendly. The facilities are very clean, and the private pool with the view on the ocean is breathtaking. We enjoyed swimming at the beach, the pool and our private pool. Also, amazing views. The service in general is amazing and the Staff are just lovely, Also, we had a romantic dinner arranged with photoshoot. We really enjoyed it and we were very happy with the received photos. Yeah and finally the spa is great. We had received a couple massage very other day and felt super relaxed. TOTALY RECOMMENDED

Friendly attentive staff, nice villa facing the sea, 100% privacy, good size private pool, the general pool is big (50m long), the beach is clean ( no stones, no need for sea shoes) however the waves are strong; one has to be careful when swimming. the room is spacious has all around glass windows from ceiling till floor for a wonderful view to the pool and sea, there is outdoor seating area, 3 split a/c in the room making perfect cooling. Breakfast ala carte , as well lunch and dinner with many varieties, good taste at reasonable prices! parking available with no extra charge. sufficient daily water refill. we enjoyed our stay!

Those looking for quietness and relaxation the resort is far away from the main tourist places and clubs in other areas ( around 1 - 1.5 hr drive). Although the shampoo and body scent are of lemongrass, however the smell was not good!

Our stay at this hotel was truly amazing. The location offers a rare and beautiful combination of rice field and beach views, creating a peaceful and unique atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming throughout our visit. The restaurant was excellent, especially with its Arabic menu options, and we loved the convenience of enjoying our meals—including breakfast—in our room at no extra charge. A perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and breathtaking scenery.

We had a nice stay at our villa! The setup was perfect, offering a view of the ocean, a private pool, and a peaceful hotel environment. It was the ideal spot to relax and unwind. The hotel itself is lovely, surrounded by rice fields, had nice hotel pool, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay.The hotel has one restaurant, and while the food was good, it wasn’t particularly remarkable, but it suited us just fine for our short stay. The nearby beach has black sand, though it is not really for swimming - the water seemed a bit rough and not the cleanest. It’s worth noting that the hotel is about 1.5 hours drive from the airport.

While the hotel is only a few years old and kept very clean, we did notice that it could use a bit of minor maintenance here and there to keep everything in top shape.

- Perfect as usual - Ideal place for quiet vacation, especially for couples - We travel with kids, and its very close to Bali Safari and Bali Zoo is also not far from here - huge Benefit - It was our 5th or 6th stay in Komaneka at Keramas and we love it - The pool near beach is amazing, the friedliness of staff, the very nice Villas - Its like going home for a few days... :)

Amazing service. Sprawling, meticulously landscaped grounds with private beach entrance and golf carts to get you around. The villas are best-designed villas I've ever stayed in, super-private and obsessively-clean. The restaurant is advertised as "international" but has a great selection of local cuisine, and of course breathtaking views of the surf.

Not much, really. I'd appreciate a fully-stocked minibar (the mini-fridge was empty on arrival) and a bluetooth speaker to play some music on in the villa. But other than that, we really couldn't fault it much!
