What I loved most about Sacred River is a feeling the whole place is truly at one with nature. It was quiet during my stay which made it even more special - I was able to tune into the symphony of birds, marvel at the extraordinary butterflies, be calmed by flowing water (my room felt a bit like a tree house, perched high adjacent to the narrow river that was in full flow) and a lush green cocoon with bursts of colour to nurture the soul. The food was lovely and all the staff were exceptional. Special thanks to my massage therapist who cared for me over 3 intensive sessions with such a beautiful open heart. This was the perfect place to recentre after a 5 day meditation retreat elsewhere. Suksma 🙏

The location is great with the wildlife and not too far for the beaches. I liked our room even though we had the odd snake and lizard in the room. It just added to the experience. The staff are always so happy and friendly even the gardeners and room cleaners. Always happy to help.The trees and gardens are well looked after. I like the fact the staff reminded us of our booking came with breakfast We didn't realise .thankyou for that also the choice was great.

Not having a TV so you could keep up with the news or watch the odd movie when it was raining . Although it's not the end of the world as we didn't come to Bali to watch TV . Some of the wood is rotten and needs replacing as after a rain storm there was a slight smell of damp cotton wood . It wouldn't stop us coming back though.

Breakfast was OK. Restaurant atmosphere was nice. Room/ bungalow has river view, and the water was so clear. Bed size was large enough. The place was very quiet, good for people looking for peacefulness.

The bed has a wooden cage, which is larger than the mattress, and the edge is sharp. I bumped to the corner and hurt my leg. Need to do something with the corner edge. The shower/ tub is huge, but highly recommended to install a railing for to assist peole going in/ out the tub for safety reason. Suggested to put something on the door so the door can be closed from outside without locking, when there's another person inside & the other way around. There was no hair dryer provided in the room either.

Excellent stay here. Rooms are great size, big and as photos show you. The restaurant on site is some of the best food we’ve had so far! Their nasi goreng is delightful. Room cleaned daily. Pool area is immaculate. A very zen, jungle feel place!

It’s really far from anything. Not actually sure what else is in the are, so do your research. Would need to use Grab bikes or rent your own scooter from the hotel to get around. We only stayed here to go to the Bali Safari Park.. wouldn’t waste your time. It’s more of a glorified zoo. Great for kids, but really not as described.

All of them were so kind and they treat guests really well. Specially note to the chef who cooked for us especially after the closing time. And the Spa service was amazing . She is really experienced in massages. scooter on rent available which is pretty nice to go around to black beaches

The property might be bit old and the welcome drink little bit different taste. But at the end people make it a pleasant stay

Our pool villa room was huge and full of character. The staff were really lovely and it gave us a beautiful Balinese authentic experience.

I would suggest that this accommodation is more of a forest escape, rather than a beach escape but they do provide a free shuttle to the beach and, to be fair, it is only 5 mins away by bike. The food in the hotel restaurant is fairly basic, and there are no other alternative restaurants within walking distance.

We had such a lovely stay here. The rooms were amazing and a lovely pool. What stood out for us were how amazing the staff were - Pick-ups and drop-offs to the beach all arranged! A special thank you to the staff member Ira who went above and beyond for us. She helped arrange everything for us, including some very complicated pick-ups and further travel arrangements (a boat across to the Gili’s). She is really amazing and we are so thankful to her!

Keramas Sacred River Village is a beautiful, relatively new, not too large, 'hidden' resort, we loved staying here! The rooms are big and nicely decorated, with a high quality bed. The bathroom was amazing with a large rain shower! We had a super cozy seating area in front of our room with a view of the beautiful garden with all the little ponds with Koi. All around the amazing swimming pool, there are cozy places to rest, read a book, have a drink and just relax. The restaurant was also very nice, with good food and a lovely view of the sacred river and forest behind it. They also offer massages, yoga classes and several other activities and the staff is very friendly. We definitely recommend staying here!

Relaxed, birds, friendly staff without being nosey. The restaurant has healthy food choices (yogurt, granola, avocado bowl), which is generally difficult to find.

The location doesn’t provide much for walking or exploring. You’re pretty much stuck at the resort with a book. No other restaurants nearby.

This place was one of my favourite places we stayed at in our 17-day visit to Bali. I highly recommend this place. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and kind. It was so peaceful, no traffic noise at all. Trees, gardens, and a little river running alongside of it were so beautiful. We had a 30-min foot massage here also, and WOW highly recommend this also. The rooms was beautiful, the bed was very comfy, when we entered the air-conditioner was already on, and the food was delicious. Thank you for making our last 2 nights in Bali very pleasant
