Having breakfast looking at the mountains was definitely a highlight of my time in Tam Coc. This homestay is super cute and the man who works there was really kind to me, even taking me to town so I wouldn’t walk with all my luggage. A little paradise if you’re seeking a peaceful time amongst nature. Also the cottage was really nice and fairly modern, plus the bed was huge!

Location is a bit outside, even though it’s quick to reach the town centre if you go by bike. Just be mindful that it gets dark soon (in December at least) and the path is not well lit / bikes don’t have lights. Also worth clarifying they charge a fee for renting the bike for a day trip but you can use it for free if you only go to town, as I was a bit misled by previous comments in here!

Definitely the best homestay we have stayed here in Vietnam, not that we had any bad ones but this particular one has exceeded all expectations. The lovely family took care of us like we were at a Four Seasons resort. The homestay itself is beautifully situated and has all the amenities you could wish for. Great swimmingpool, clean room, comfy beds, airconditioning. They also provide excellent a-l-a-carte breakfast and we had dinner, freshly prepared hotpot, can highly recommend it. The homestay is located a few minutes away from town, with tons of restaurants and other things to do. If all homestays would be like this, we would not go to a more expensive luxury hotel ever again.

We are traveling through Vietnam for 1 month and this is by far our most favorite place we stayed at! The owners are beyond friendly, welcoming and supporting. Staying there immediately felt like being home. The rooms are very new, modern and clean. Comfiest beds of our trip! Also the showers were hot and powerful. Food (breakfast and dinner) was great and you can enjoy it with a beautiful view on the terrace. The homestay is located a lovely five minute bike ride through beautiful nature to get to the city center of Tam coc. If you look for a calm and comfy place to stay during your visit in tam coc we highly recommend to stay here!

Everything at the property was stellar! Nice refreshing pool (not too warm and dirty like others I tried to swim in in ninh binh), simple but tasty breakfast, wonderful family that runs the place, cute little puppy to play with, and much more. The room was perfect, clean, and AC was beautiful. Comfy king size bed. Honestly this place just majorly exceeded expectations. The family really takes care of you and puts effort in communicating with you. They went above and beyond to serve us (bringing water and bananas to our door one day and bringing my boyfriend a beer by the pool without even asking:). Just highly recommend and you’ll love it. Beautiful and romantic setting in the evening as well. +Free bikes that are actually nice. We extended a night and the homestay booked us a bus to cat ba. So so easy and great.

Nothing comes to mind

Air conditioning, a fan, a fridge, hot shower (if you want it) and a comfortable bed! What more do you need? And that's not to mention the beautiful pool!! The scenery around the place is stunning, the place itself equally stunning and then the family there are what make this place complete! They have a funny, cheeky son that made me laugh, he's so intelligent for his age. They make excellent food, serve cold drinks and are genuinely amazing people! They will leave you in peace if that's what you want or you can enjoy their company. The price you pay for this special place is more than fair! It's not too far from town , although I know most tourists are lazy and don't like to walk so a bike wouldn't take long at all. I have a motorbike so easy for me to say but I'd happily walk it! Everything you need is basically at your doorstep. Don't hesitate on booking this place. 10 out of 10 for me!

That I had to leave

The most beautiful house, beautiful pool and beautiful area. You could definitely tell that they cared for their homestay. I would say that it is probably the most beautiful place we've stayed! and the room and pool were absolutely lovely and clean. Thank you for letting us stay, and especially for helping us check in at 4am

They didn't really have any healthy/tasty breakfast choices. (4 pieces of white bread with a slab og egg) We always book places with breakfast included, but I wouldn't say this breakfast was worth it - but the beauty of the place made it worth every penny!

Great location, right next to the rice fields and below a limestone. The homestay is beautiful, lovely garden, flowers everywhere, little lights, etc.. you can tell love and care has been put into it. Same with the rooms that are super fresh, with all amenities, clean bathroom (plus toiletries) & good matress. Hosts are extremely sweet and helpful. The swimming pool is a great addition for those sweaty afternoons! And the price is unbeatable!

Hard to find something negative to say, we were treated like family here. We didn't love the food, but that's personal preference.

The Homestay is very new and clean. All rooms are arranged around a small courtyard and there is even a pool. The bed is big and comfortable. All rooms have AC, a fridge, super-soft towels, a water kettle, hair dryer and strong Wi-Fi. The place is located in a little village just outside of Tam Coc, overlooking fields and surrounded by scenic landscape. It's an easy walk or a short bicycle/ scooter ride into town. The hosts Doan and Viet are very helpful and we felt like family. The food is tasty and fresh. There is lots to see around Ninh Binh and we stayed an extra day to explore it, using the bicycles provided by the Homestay. Doan also arranged our travel to the next location. We can highly recommend this place and hope to be back in the near future.

The family is super welcoming. We could check in straight away and offered to make us breakfast every morning (to hungover to get up the first morning though). They even lent us their scooter free of charge to get to town. The homestay itself is cute, the swimming pool was lovely and the scenery around the homestay was picturesque. The bed and pillows were one of the comfiest we had slept on. The bathroom was clean with a powerful hot shower. The main town is a 15-minute walk, 10-minute cycle, or a 4 minute drive, but as I mentioned, the family allowed us to use their scooter. Would 100% stay here again and highly recommend.

I had the best time at Viet Ha Homestay. The surroundings are beautiful, the Homestay is extremely clean and well maintained, from the outside with the pool to the room with everything that you need (it is rare to have a room so clean in Vietnam). The owners are truly very nice and helpful, they will do their best to make sure your stay goes the perfect way. You are welcomed to borrow a bike freely to visit the surroundings. It felt like home!
