The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the Tam Coc boat ride, with many restaurants, convenience stores, and spas nearby. It’s not on the main road, so it's nice and quiet for resting. The host was extremely friendly, responsive, and always ready to help. The room was spacious and very clean. Even though there was no divider between the toilet and shower, the bathroom stayed dry and tidy, so it wasn’t a problem at all. The laundry service was quick, and everything came back spotless. I also borrowed an iron, and the host kindly let me use it for free during my stay. He arranged transportation to and from Hanoi, which was super convenient

Nam was very accomodating and helpful during our stay. You can ask him for anything and get a response pretty quickly. The room are quite spacious even with 2 full beds. Things were clean and tidy. Location is walkable to Tam Coc and also with hole on the wall places around to eat/drink by the hotel.

I think I could've request it, but I feel each room should also come with a standing/ceiling fan. We stayed during the hot and humid weather and the mounted AC fan is too weak to spread the cool air around the room quickly. Also, not sure why it's not more common in places we stayed in Vietnam but having a small mirror located anywhere outside of the bathroom would be quite useful.

The location of the hotel is central to the street of Tam Coc but peacefully tucked away from the noise. No longer than a 20 minute bike ride away from the main attractions. The owners & staff of Tamcoc Catalina hotel are the friendliest of people who welcome all their guests with open arms - making the experience and stay more memorable. Any requests to make your stay perfect - the staff of Tamcoc Catalina will make it possible. I wanted to surprise my gf for Valentine’s and they went above and beyond to help me plan something. The room is kept to an incredibly high standard which is complimented by the comfiest bed (occasionally a rare find). There is nothing we would fault about this hotel/business.

Best value for the money you pay! The room was really spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable, the breakfast really nice and also the services. You can rent a bike and have excellent laundry. The staff is super sweet and helpful

Location was great. In the middle of Tam Coc, but on a quiet side street. The receptionist was extremely helpful and kind! He spoke fluent English and gave a lot of valuable tips. You can rent bicycles and motorbikes directly. We gave the laundry in the evening and got it back in the morning already. There is a smart tv in the room. The dog Moon who hanged out outside and in the reception was very cute! :)

Breakfast had a lot of choices but wasn’t the best. Shower always flooded the whole bathroom and made it very slippery. There was a bit of noise from the street and nearby construction site.

We stayed at this property for 5 nights. The location is excellent, very close to tam coc main area. A lot of good restaurants nearby. The room is spacious, clean and quiet. Cleaning services was great. The hotel offers laundry services which we used and was quick and clean The breakfast is been made especially for you evey day, when you come to the lobby. Nam, the host- welcomed us and took care of every think we needed during our stay. This is a small hotel at the middle of Tam coc but still quite and cozy, would highly recommend visiting.

Pristine room and dining area/reception. Breakfast is so tasty, especially the baguette with omelette and the Nutella pancakes!! We did our laundry here for 35k a kilo and it came back clean and smelling amazing. The hotel is really well located in Tam Coc with some of the best food and coffee shops nearby. There is a mart about 1 min walk away. The owner is excellent. He prepped the room so we could arrive at 4am and left 2 bottles of Pocari Sweat for us. In the morning he gave us a map and recommendations of what to do in Ninh Binh. Furthermore, on check out day, he allowed us to keep the room until 8pm as we left for our train later on. (For a charge of course.) He really made our stay so much better! I got sick and unfortunately had to spend a lot of time in the hotel, not out and about in Ninh Binh. However, I was grateful to be in such a peaceful, clean and spacious hotel room to recover.

Fabulous hotel, perfectly placed in the centre of Tam Coc but 50m down a quiet side street. We were here during storm Yagi and Nam, the receptionist, could not have do enough to make sure we were safe and comfortable. Once the storm abated, it was a one minute walk to bars, restaurants, shops and the office for the boat trips. Would definitely stay here again.

There isn't an elevator in the hotel. Not an issue for us but maybe relevant to others.

Well located basic hotel. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Beds were comfortable. Laundry was reasonably priced and clothes smelled great afterwards. Breakfast was decent - pre-ordered the day prior. Hotel arranged drivers for seeing the sights which was very convenient. Choose the rooms with two beds for more space. Our double room was very small.

Our room faced the property next door which burned their rubbish (I think), causing pungent smoke/smell to infiltrate our room for hours. Unpleasant.

The staff was the nicest people ever! They helped us with so many things. They washed ou clothes, helped with places to go and even the roads we should take. We rented a scooter one day which had trouble starting at one point, the staff quickly drove to us and gave us a new one and took the other one home. The breakfast was nice and the rooms were even nicer. This place made our trip to Tam Coc unforgettable. Thank you! The receptionists dad also made us a gift... so sweet!
