It's wonderful because the people here are very friendly and the hosts are always happy to help you if you have any problems. The view is truly magnificent and beautiful, the air is fresh. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the pool, though no one is swimming because it's cold, is always spotless.

I had an unforgettable experience at this beautiful hotel. The location is simply breathtaking — nestled in the heart of vast rice fields and surrounded by majestic mountains. The peace and quiet are unreal; it’s the perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature. The pool was excellent — clean, refreshing, and with a view that makes you want to stay forever. What truly made my stay special was the incredibly warm and welcoming family who runs the place. I had a delightful hour-long conversation with the father of the family, and his smile and kindness left a lasting impression. Breakfast was simple but delicious, with a choice of eggs or pancakes. And despite the serene setting, the hotel is just a 5-minute drive from the main tourist center — close enough for convenience but far enough to enjoy tranquility. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

It is an amazing setting amongst the rice fields and mountains, unbelievably beautiful. It is about 1.5km into the centre of Tam Coc but you have access to bicycles for free. It is a lot of fun cycling to and from town through the rice fields, a real highlight! The walk is about 30 minutes. Breakfast is simple but a decent amount of food, pancakes or eggs and bread with fruit. Big fans to keep you cool. The room was good with comfortable beds. Cute doggos! Pool is lovely and enough seats/ loungers.

No fridge in the room but you can use their fridge in the kitchen. No water refill :( but can buy a big water for 15,000. Sometimes hard to locate the staff to ask for things (like to buy water) but the son is always available on WhatsApp. The AC was just about good enough but we got hot in the night (definitely manageable though, nothing major!)

The homestay is in a great location, right out in the rice fields - really beautiful. It's a little further out from Tam Coc town but no more than 15 minutes walk on a nice quiet road, or even shorter on a bike, so there is access to restaurants, cafés, shops etc. It also means it's nice and quiet. Bicycles are available for free while you're there. The staff were lovely and very helpful, including booking taxis for us and transfer to/from Hanoi. Breakfast of pancakes was very nice to start the day. Nice pool to cool off at after a hot day exploring Ninh Binh. There is a very cute little dog as well at the homestay who wanders around! The little cabin rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable, and have all you need for your stay, including AC.

Very little not to like! Perhaps if you want to be a little closer to the action of Tam Coc it is a bit far out, but it more than makes up for it with the stunning surroundings and peace and quiet.

Our initial stay was at a corner room on the ground floor, it’s a family room with 2 double beds although we are just a couple- there was a window facing a wall and there’s not enough natural light, it also somehow seems damp in there so it really wasn’t the best room BUT later on the property mentioned that they made a mistake and we should actually be in a cheaper room - the cheaper room was a triple room (1 single bed and 1 queen bed) on the first floor, this room has balcony with a double sliding door and huge window - we loved this room and wished that this was allocated to us from the start, we would have extended but the place was already booked. So in summary, the corner quadruple family room is a 7/10 and the triple room upstairs is a 10/10.

We are truly grateful for the care provided by the hosts. My friend was sick, but the host took us to the hospital and checked on her. After returning, they even cooked her a bowl of porridge. It was surprising that they genuinely wanted to help us, and they took the initiative without us asking. The room was clean and comfortable, the pool was wonderful, and the homestay view was truly amazing for the price we paid. Once again, thank you to the host family for helping us. I will remember and cherish this experience forever.

Beautiful garden setting with a pool with a view of the limestone hills. The owners were very friendly and cooked us an excellent breakfast the 3 days we stayed. Probably the best omelette I've ever had. The location is quiet and peaceful away from the noise of scooters etc. Bed was comfortable and we slept well.

Bathroom wasn't as clean as we would have liked and it was odd we could only have 1 toilet paper roll at a time. The location although nice and quiet made transport a little difficult. Fortunately we had private drivers booked through Ha Trang Travel, as we found Grab drivers were reluctant to pick us up or drop off to this homestay due to the narrow roads. Would recommend booking drivers in advance so you don't need to rely on Grabs.

- No fridge in the bedrooms. We wanted to take cool drinks from outside, but we also had to buy ice for that... - No TV (negligible, but still) - No coffee, cups, and kettle in the room, which is pretty much a standard in every other vietnamese homestays/hotels - Our bedside table had some dirty/sticky parts. I'm sure they'd have cleaned it if we had asked, but it should have been clean in the first place.

From the moment we arrived, the son fetched us using his motorcycle, one at a time, including our luggages, because the dam broke and there was flooding on the road going to their place. Before we could even reach their resort, we were greeted by his dad whose smile never left his face all throughout our stay there. They even used their wheelbarrow just for us to step on their gorgeous homestay dry and safe, even if the flood was just knee-high deep. The son attended to all our requests including our day tour, Grab service, among other things. The fetching using the wheelbarrow and motorcycle happened not just once, but SIX times — morning and evening. The view was so peaceful. We even swam at the pool during our last night. The mom was also always smiling and even took a video of us riding the cart and sent it to us with Vietnamese dramatic song. It was so cute 😁.
