The staff were friendly and polite, the location was well situated though not in the best part of the Mamaia strip in my opinion- right next to the telegondola, beaches and dining precinct with supermarkets nearby. Air con worked well and quickly but the room I was in was also relatively small. Decent rennovations for a 3 star hotel. Parking out the front of the hotel is subject to availability but free.

I came during the week though I could tell the place could get busy over the weekends. The room I received was not well captured by the photographs displayed on Booking. They are somewhat doctored. They might only reserve their thicker blankets for the colder months as I struggled to sleep with just a thin sheet over me but that might be personal preference. Parking can also be a bit of a battle especially during peak season. Thankfully I was able to be allocated a spot each night but the conceirge said there was no guarantee on the weekend. Air con could be noisy at times but was only intermittent. Sadly only a single plastic chair and table were provided on the small balcony and no ash tray (without asking)

The room was very clean as well as the hotel in general. The room had curtains which blocked the sun. The room had wooden floors. The furniture was fairly new. Good position (except the beach), near Mamaia’s Casino. Free parking was available.

At night there were a lot of bugs on the balcony but the hotel staff most likely knew about this as in the morning they were dead (assuming various pesticides were used), and, after letting them know, the balcony was cleaned during the day. This process was repeated for a few days, until near the end of my stay, there were way less bugs. Also there was a problem with the sewer system, as most of the time there was an awful smell in the hotel lobby, and rarely in the room’s bathroom. The beach placed in front of the hotel was “remade” and extended a while ago and the sea is pretty far off. The worst part is that in this process sand was barely used, and the beach is composed mainly of “land with shells”.

Excellent location, very spacious, light and clean, professional staff providing best quality services. The hotel is situated in the Casino area, in Mamaia, our favourite location, as it is very close to the beach, restaurants and shopping area. We had a room with a nice balcony to dry our towels and swimsuits, but it also gave us the opportunity to enjoy fantastic sunrises. We'll make sure we'll book the same location next time.

As it was in the old times, Albatros Hotel had a restaurant and a swimming pool that are currently not used. We hope those facilities will be renovated and used again, sometime in the near future!

It was a pleasant surprise to discover a gem of a hotel. Impeccably clean rooms. Friendly and well-trained staff. Quality services. Everything at a decent price. We love it!

The fact that they don't serve breakfast.

The staff was very friendly, the apartment was clean, and we felt completely safe leaving our money and belongings there. I highly recommend this place! The complimentary coffee from the lobby machine was also fantastic.

Amazing stay. The room had a sea view with most amazing sunrises. Fully equipped, with a/c, nice bathroom and everything was clean. The staff were very helpful and always smiling - helped with parking the car, as the parking places that belong to hotel are limited. We stayed for 2 nights and had no issues.

The balcony did not have a roof, this became relevant as it was raining during our stay.

Very close to the beach, nice staff, the hotel has parking and some rooms have a view of the sea. And you are close to all kinds of restaurants. Oh and I also liked the big balcony.

All good, the only minus was the noise for the room with sea view because we could hear all night the music from the clubs bit it's not the hotel's fault for that.

This was the cleanest hotel I have ever booked on Booking. Everything was spotless, towels were white as snow and were changed every morning.

The room was very clean and comfortable. All staff members were polite and friendly, ready to help with anything I needed. I recommend it to all my friends and family. If you decide to stay here, you won’t regret.

Very clean (everyday was cleaned, towels and toiletries refreshed, very nice and polite staff, I liked especially the bathroom: big, with window and natural light. I liked the balcony and sea view to see the sunrise in the morning. Good location, close to the bus station, beach, restaurants and shopping area.

The music from the club near by was very loud and we had to close the windows at night.
