The Inn was very comfortable and homey. Having a very large living room space to sit and visit family was exceptional. The cappuccino machine made it amazing opportunity to sit and relax with family.

The most exceptional part of the stay was interacting with the staff. The manager, Steven, is among the best proprietors that we have ever experienced. His knowledge, professionalism, friendliness, and all around genuine concern for guests was beyond what we have ever experienced. He truly seems to care about the property and about the experience that people have when they stay there. Sophia, the head of housekeeping is also outstanding.

This hotel was beautiful! It exceeded my expectations. My family stays here quite often but this was the first time I stayed here with my partner. The lobby was gorgeous and the staff was super friendly! They also had fruit and cookies when we arrived and a refrigerator with drinks. The front staff also gave us multiple water bottles when I asked if I could have a water. The room was beautiful and big for the price we paid. We will definitely be back to this hotel!

The entrance to the hotel was a little tight and I almost missed how to enter but that was really minor from how beautiful it was there!

Great location. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed. Breakfast was good and well supplied. Also, like their new coffee machine in the lobby for making Latte's, Mocha's or Cappuccino's when ever you want.

The bathroom area showed a little wear and looked like it needed some updating. Also, the toilet was very small and low. Also, was a unfavorably surprised that one of our night's cost almost $100 more than the other night we stayed.

Location (near Miss Porter’s), easy to find (right on main road), plenty of parking (some were covered), large room, coffee / tea / water station available in lobby 24x7, walking distance to Starbucks and restaurants

Room was dark (only 1 small window along a long wall), bathroom had a bathtub with a shower curtain (rather than a proper shower stall), no elevator or ramp (had to carry suitcases up the stairs

The furnishings and amenities of the room and inn as a whole made our stay very pleasant and comfortable. The location is wonderful with several very nice dining options very close by. The town is charming with some really nice sights to see. We were very happy with out choice.

Having breakfast included was a plus and I enjoyed the make your own waffle, but it could have been been better. I could understand the critiques I had read.

I love that the hotel is conveniently located, quaint, quiet, and clean.

There are only two complaints that I have: The bathroom fan doesn’t have a separate switch., therefore the fan goes on whenever the bathroom light is turned on and it’s very noisy and annoying. Please rectify this. The other issue is the lack of ceiling lights. There are several lamps, but they don’t provide enough lighting.

The room inside was well equipped and comfortable. We got a little welcoming gift which was nice, and also there were fruits and cookies in reception foc. Located well in Connecticut, few minutes driving to Hartford.

On booking.com, the hotel is advertised to have wellness and spa but in fact it has not and there is only a beauty salon with wellness next door which is not part of the hotel and has limited opening hours.

Perfect for visiting the local area. The inn exudes classic New England charm. The price was reasonable, and I unexpectedly received an upgraded suite, which was a nice surprise. Parking was easy, the lobby was nicely appointed, and the property appears well-maintained. It's very quaint, with a few modern touches. But mostly quaint!

It doesn't really have much in the way of fitness amenities. I can see why that is, given the layout and age of the building. But I wouldn't take off anything for this, really. If I wanted a fitness center and a pool, I could have stayed elsewhere.

Beautiful location - I forgot how beautiful the Farmington area is. The quiet, wallpapered room and four poster beds and curtains were very nice and felt special. The staff was very helpful and nice. The midweek snacks in the lobby were yummy. Breakfast in pretty Victoria's breakfast room was good.

Maybe the lack of a refrigerator for drinks. The feather bed on one of the 2 beds would have been better with a fitted sheet underneath. But the beds were very comfy with nice sheets and top comforters.

I stayed in the King Suite. The absolute BEST part of the room and my stay was the Better Than Average comfort of the bed. It as a "pillow top" mattress adder that made the bed much more comfortable than just the mattress. The Front Desk also provided a toothbrush.....which I managed to forget.

The continental breakfast was fairly standard fare. I always appreciate something like real, cooked oatmeal or fresh fruit.
