1. Elevators (at least one) not functioning in the Premium Tower most of the time 2. Functioning elevator being used as service elevator most of the causimg delays and damage 3. Very poor network/wifi. Perhaps the most outdated IT operations I have seen in a 5 star facility. 4. Couldnt work at all on the laptop for fear of damaging it as power goes off and on whenever there are heavy rains at least 10 to 15 times in a few minutes while the Laptop is booting. The Generator/Auxiliary Power coming on automatically is understandable but not if main power is repeatedly tripping every couple of minutes. If during heavy rains which is usually 20 minutes or so, the generator could be operated manually and kept on for half an hour until the main power is steady.

Can’t pick one reason. If you are looking for a local blending without many foreigners around you, highly recommended. Let us start with the complimentary boat rides, the welcoming staff, evening dance performances.. worth the stay. The staff was attentive to customer needs and you will always find someone whom you can reach out for help.Their facility extends to drivers at a very reasonable rate limited to meals and bath.

The following is not a don’t like, rather an opportunity to improve. (1) Provide an area for drivers to sleep, even if it is a big room with simple mattresses, (2) revisit the food prices, there are good options (cost, taste) if one sends their drivers out for 10 mins drive.

Our rooms were very comfortable and well maintained with an excellent view of the lake. I particularly would like to thank the servers at the restaurant who made efforts to care about the needs of my aged parents. The masseuse at the spa did an amazing job.

A hotel at this level should definitely have drivers' quarters with full facilities, both shared or single, to choose from. Many guests travel long distances and like to ensure their drivers are well rested and can get this within the hotel at good prices. If tables at the restaurant are pre booked, please use a "reserved" board so that other guests are made aware and not unsettled suddenly during a quiet meal.

Had a great staycation at the Leela ashtamudi..went fr two day with family..the expectations from us wer all fulfilled by the pleasant nature of the staffs nd the hospitality provided.breakfast was more than our expectations..complimentry boat ride was ther wch v thoroughly enjoyed.v took the soa treatmnt wch was a great xperience and calming..thankyou fr making our weekend memorable.

Just a few words on the maintanence of the room .rooms wer al good .v booked 3 rooms..out of wch wer my parents stayed..the bathroom fittings wer Lil old nd was not comfrtbl ,the tap was working bt all those req a Lil more maintenance..if your team can look in..i will mention the room num .it's 211.

I loved the caring and helpful attitude of the staff. Even the special requests like Puttu and idiyappam were incorporated in the buffet breakfast. Chef and the staff was happy to serve. Great variety for dinner too and caters to all tastes. Room was Grand heritage lake view, it was very spacious and clean with a small balcony and amazing view of the lake. The spa experience was good too. In fact, you dont need to step out of the hotel.. though we did visit the munroe islands. Hotel travel desk was efficient with good cars and drivers.

The staff and service were brilliant everyone was friendly and very helpful. Is it situated close to town so easily accessible. The food was marvellous with a huge variety of quality dishes. The room we had was spacious and clean.

I think management should pay attention to cleanliness and general upkeep - The Raviz is a beautiful property however the stairs hadn't been cleaned and there was dried food on the occasion I did use the stairs. Small things like keeping windows and doors clean are important when a hotel is advertised as a 5star property.

The ambience was good. The food was great. The location is scenic and very beautiful. The property is very well maintained.

During my last stay I had a lovely room overlooking the swimming pool and the lake. Unfortunately, that spoilt me, and I felt let down by the room i was given. The rooms are not planned well 'specially the bathroom. Also, there were no bathmats and we had to remind the staff a couple of times before they were provided. The current management is much more professional, and rooms are maintained well but I missed the friendliness and the homely environment provided by the earlier management.

We visited this property after a long road trip with several excellent stops at brilliantly pleasant hotels along the way. So, it was a hard act for Leela Ashtamudi to follow, but nonetheless, the property impressed us immensely. The reception at the porch all the way to the being ensconced in the room was flawless. Our boxes simply arrived in the room, and the car was valet parked in the basement (out of the tropical sunshine). The staff here do this property much credit, and every one of them did their utmost to assist and please. But if you ask me what the best aspect of this hotel is, it is the flow of public spaces, its excellent position on the lakeside, it's brilliantly shaded and landscaped property, and the general sense of space and breeze. Yes, the breeze needs special mention as it is a guaranteed feature of the lakeside position. The breeze funnels through the public sitting areas in a way that is simply awesome. The room we had was simply cavernous, like a church converted for our exclusive use. The space and layout of the wardrobes, toilets and bathroom were rather unique and expansive. Loved it.

The AC controls were not that effective, and most of the time, the AC dropped temperatures too low for comfort. Also the light switches were intended to remove the confusion of multiple switches, but did not work all too satisfactorily

Stunning reception space and beautiful seating areas on each floor. Lovely views across the water. Boat rides from the hotel dock. Excellent range of quality food. Staff were faultless in their attentiveness and desire to please.

Check event calendar before booking: some hotel based seminars or local independent celebrations can be quite noisy well into the night..if .firecrackers and loud music are not your thing, it would be wise to plan your dates with prior knowledge. The pool area is very serene...more umbrellas needed for the number of guests.
