Lovely spacious room with a lovely ensuite. Loved we could sit on the balcony and see the pool through to the sea. The beach and pool were both great. Loved being able to swim in the ocean! It was the perfect getaway we needed!

Only minor criticism was the breakfast was a little disappointing

Me and my husband wabted to have 1 day break outside of Dubai. This is our 2nd time in Rotana Fujairah, and we didn't regret in choosing this hotel. It was happy 1 night stay, with cozy and friendly atmosphere in every single moment. Starting from check-in, continuing with night activities, breakfast and checkout. We were lucky to catch the Ladies Night (each saturday) and enjoyed the party vibes in the hotel bar, having our drinks and playing table pool. By the way the table pool was not available in beginning, because of decorations, but after our request staff made it happen and we really enjoyed our evening there. Next day breakfast was aslo very nice, big variety of food, several cuisines, friendly staff. We went to the beach after that and were a bit late for check out which is ar 12pm, we asked Reception of possible to extend it for 1 hour, and thanks to Mr Rohit he made it happen, many thanks for that. Many thanks to Mr Marzok, Guest Relations, for his help on the day of arrival, he assisted us in the outside table pool amenities and the next day during check out. We will definitely come back to this place with kids, because its realy amazing hotel for family vacation.

The main purpose of choosing this hotel was for a family short gateway trip and relaxation, far away from the city’s hustle and bustle and it turned out to be the perfect place for that! This was our second time, but the first since the renovation. Starting with the reception, everything was extremely smooth and professional as the receptionist on duty made it even more personable, small chat with the intention the ensure that our stay would be just perfect, actually the whole team at the reception are very professional and very friendly.🤩 We truly enjoyed the full experience — our garden view interconnected family rooms, long, pristine beach, impressive pool and a bar, an excellent breakfast buffet and most of all, the warm and welcoming staff! And here definitely should be mentioned Said, Nadima, Shanuka and unforgettable Kiwan at the pool bar!😉 The staff genuinely care about your complete comfort, right from check-in all the way to check-out. Everything at this resort is well-organized and incredibly comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing gateway!

Variety of food can be enhanced

The resort is amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly starting from the front desk with Mazrouk who was wonderful. Very helpful, smiley and even took went out of his way to help with things. Dyan and Nora in the buffet restaurant who were very helpful and wonderful. Not to say the rest of the staff on the restaurant who were all incredible. Paul the housekeeping staff me fed who was one of the most incredible human beings. Very smiley, helpful, friendly and a great energy. Definitely a resort to keep coming back to.

We enjoyed our short staycation at the hotel. The rooms have a modern nature- inspired design. Our room had a balcony with beautiful view of the resort and the sea beyond. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the room, and cleaning crew coming twice a day to make sure you got all what you need (clean towels, water, ect) I also loved the idea of steel and sparkling water dispenser in the restaurant, saving environment from extra plastic. All staff were very polite and attentive to our requests. Hassan at the reception speaks perfect Russian.

I only wish there was a pool for adults only.

We had a wonderful stay at Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa - Al Aqah Beach. Dinesh was an exceptional host, going above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable, even while covering for the main restaurant. All the staff were polite, friendly, and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout our visit. The room cleaning service was top-notch, ensuring our accommodation was always spotless and comfortable. The facilities were excellent, making it a perfect destination for a family getaway. We especially loved the pristine sand on the beach—it was truly amazing!

While our overall experience was fantastic, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. The bar service could benefit from quicker service or additional staff during busy times, and the main buffet restaurant would be even better with a wider variety of options for kids.

I liked the fact the pool stays to 12 am everyday It's cozy and relaxing with nice lobby Ocean swim is incredible I liked Sharkey's pina collada ice cream ...delicious and a must try, staff there is good

Room isn't big compared to other hotels, Water slide is old, needs more attention to fix and add more water attractions Breakfast buffet could be better No much good resraurants around So you've to go to Fujairah for a good descent meal Or go for a half board bases.

The hotel location was great... a walk to Snoopy Island and water sports centre was right on the beach to take you to the island too. The hotel was clean and welcoming and large. Sunrise on the beach was magnificent. Rooms were a good size and comfortable and reception and pool staff were welcoming.

The staff were SLOW. I'm talking order something and it may never arrive. One staff member kept asking us to repeat what we said, more than 5 times! I couldn't understand why as we don't have thick accents and had no difficulty before. We kept rephrasing and rewording requests until she understood, but even then the items NEVER arrived! It was exhausting dealing with the waiters at breakfast and at Sharkeys on the beach!
