Couldn't eat breakfast due to test at Mayo. First reaction when I walked in the front door...beautiful lobby. Second reaction...the woman who helped me was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Asked for a room close to the elevator, and that is what I got; that was great. Room was very nice and clean. Bed was quite comfortable. Jake took me to the Mayo Gonda Building and picked me up. He was very personable, talked to me about Rochester and Mayo which was very interesting. If I need to go back to Mayo, I will stay at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Our room was large, and the bed was decent. It wasn't super cozy, but we did sleep ok. It's close to the Mayo and other downtown areas. The Subway walk to the Mayo was super handy. The Galleria, through the subway walk, was beautiful and full of restaurants and stores. The hotel breakfast was deliciously hot, and the sweet server was exceptional. Valet parking was handy, and our driver to the Mayo was incredibly gracious by getting our doors for us and had great conversation as well.

The hotel is currently under construction. The nightly rate was incredibly high, considering the other hotels just a mile away are so much cheaper and offer free shuttling. The pool area is small. The area that you get to park in when checking into the hotel is right on the street. It's a little scary getting in and out of your vehicle there. In all, it was a nice stay, but unfortunately, for what they charge a night, I doubt we will be back.

We can always count on a grfeat stay at this property. The location is great as per easy access to the Mayo Clinic and several wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The staff is always accommodating and the valet parking is a bonus.

While the remodel of the lobby area is very nice, I was disappointed that they removed the lounge and replaced it with a "drink cart" with limited availability.

Car service to and from my early morning appointment were excellent! And driver Jake was pleasant, polite and punctual too!!!

Breakfast was not free. Cleaning staff tried to come in because they thought room was empty… Then we had a 7:15 am phone call to ask who was in the room? The person on the phone could have checked with front desk before disturbing us…

Location was perfect for appointments at Mayo Clinic. The staff were funny and professional- so very helpful and nice. Shuttle service/valet were amazing! I won't stay anywhere else ever again!

Maybe add something complimentary other than bathroom supplies, would have been the only thing I'd prefer.

Was clean and staff was very helpful and it was close to our appointments, also I liked it had a skyway to get where we had to with out walking outside in the rain, also the night manager was very helpful as my Daughter got so sick after her first treatment when we came back to our room, cleaning staff was great also dank you !

Bed was very comfortable, clean room, keurig, and refrig was great.

No room service except for refrig. refill. My bed was not made, nor my dirty towels were not exchanged for new. I felt for the price of the room - these 2 things should have been done as wel!!.... We stayed a couple of nights. Also the waste cans were running over & were not dumped. We were in & out of Mayo (busy). We were not there to clean the room.

Location close to my medical appointment

The room had an odor of old perfume. The room was located next to the bank of elevators and I heard them until 10:30 pm and again starting at 6:00 am. Carpet was stained.

I liked being so close to Mayo Clinic and having the ability to use the skyway.

I would have preferred to pay at the end of my trip.

The shower was amazing.

Pillows were very uncomfortable. We parked across the street to use the skywalk. However, the signage could be better, as we ended up at the wrong place.
