The staff were very friendly and helpful in booking transfers and addressing concerns. The location is unbeatable if you would like to spend time exploring the Monastiraki streets, and the main attractions in the city. The rooftop restaurant provides a lovely view of the area when you are enjoying breakfast.

The air conditioning did not work throughout the evening until the next morning and we had to open the windows because due to the heat and humidity. There is limited space to place your toiletries in the bathroom. There are limited English and sports channels, and European travelers will be delighted to note there are several drama and news channels dedicated to the European languages.

Very central location; room was comfortable and had a balcony/ small terrace. Most of the staff were very nice. Metro to the airport across the street.

Room was quite noisy as it overlooked the street but they provided ear plugs and it wasn't so bad at night. Couple of little issues such as no coffee pods available for the in-room Nespresso machine and just one teaspoon provided with the coffee cups, hand soap forgotten initially, but minor things... Coffee machine was broken on two occasions and one of the staff was quite unhelpful about that, whereas another was very helpful. Hot breakfast was ok, breakfast finished at 10.30 but very little hot choice at 10.

Location in central Athens, close to the Monastiraki Metro station, made the Royalty Hotel an ideal base for exploring the city. Staff were very friendly and responded promptly to any issues that did arise. Room was clean and spacious, with good air-conditioning. Wi-fi was reliable. Great views of the Acropolis from the roof-top bar.

No hanging space in the shower area for damp towels. Building work was being undertaken on floor 4, so some drilling noise during the daytime. The breakfast room initially looked rather drab - though we got used to it during our stay! - and the area where the breakfast buffet was laid-out was rather cramped at busier times. Roof-top restaurants / bars on several neighbouring properties were quite noisy into the early hours of the morning.

Perfect location for few days in Athens. Hotel offers free luggage storage after check out so you can spend some time in Athens without carrying your luggage. The room was clean and comfortable. Personel at the reception was nice and helpfull.

A four star hotel should have at least a deceant breakfast, however during our stay it was not the case. You have to spend your time learning how to make orange juice. Food selection is limited to boiled and coocked eggs and sausages displayed directly on the sun. When we asked for fresh fruits we were told that it was allready finished, but the next day it was the same. I would recommend booking without breakfast and save some money.

Very good location in the centre of Athens. Plenty of nightlife, bars, shops and cafes. Close to the markets too. In this location you are not very far from very old churches, museums. Shops sell a variety of tourist gifts and food. The cafes and bars are vibrant with a good variety of cuisine from traditional Greek to Chinese and Italian. We went on a tour of Mycenae and Epidaurus which was something I would highly recommend. The staff are lovely, very friendly and eager to help. Breakfasts were great. Lots of choice with cooked breakfast, fruit, cereals, cake and coffee. The orange juicer is a fabulous addition. Our room was cleaned and tidied every day.

We were in room 101 but it was quite noisy at night. This didn't bother us too much because we were so tired. It might be useful for the hotel to give this room you younger people who like going out until later at night. Room service was not always consistent - eg we were supposed to have dressing gowns but did not find any These issues were not enough to make our stay terrible.

Location was very convenient to the sites in Athens. Restaurants and shops just around the corner. Decent breakfast too! We had a corner suite and it was a very generous size. Shower in our room was not really private as there is no door to the entire bathroom, just the toilet. But worked fine for us.

With so many tours starting early it would be nice if breakfast was open at 6a instead of 7a.

The breakfast was nice. Nothing fancy but enough to get you started for your day. There was a nice coffee machine and fresh orange juicer. Several delicious pastries as well.

We had a king sized bed which was comfortable but the pillows were very small and not very supportive to your neck or head. As well the sink had almost no room to place your toiletries. That said, these are small things and overall the hotel was very nice and in a wonderful location. We would stay here again.

The room, the hotel, the staff, were excellent. The roof bar was great and the Saturday night entertainment First class. The variety and amount of food offered was great. The extra big plus was the hotel being so close to such a busy area of shops, restaurant and transport right in the city centre. Indeed we were lucky that there was a three on three basketball tournament in the square over the weekend we stayed which added to the buzz and excitement of the whole adventure

The only criticism I would make of the whole stay would be the lack of attention of breakfast staff in replenishing both the hot food and basics like bread. They may well have had other tasks but did not spend enough time in the breakfast room

Really close to city centre, metro station, clean, nice staff, great shisha on the roof, deffo you need to try the spa, get a cocktail from Snob, the view from the balcony is amazing

No slippers in the room, the noise from outside, a more bit diverse breakfast would be nice, and would be nice to give your guest something for their birthday in the future like a small cake or fruits or flowers...I spend mine on your hotel and I would have loved to get something from you just saying, some more fluffy pillows they are too hard to sleep.on

Location is amazing, less than 5 minutes away to Monastiraki square and metro station. Staff is very friendly, breakfast is delicious and enough. Hot water comes in 5 seconds. The only thing i should warn about is, if you have sleeping problem with the noise from outside, it is very central location with bars around so it is noisy at night. Me and my friend could sleep well because we dont mind it but if you need quite place maybe you should ask them for a room that is not looking to the street. Our room was with balcony and looking to street and we stayed at friday, saturday, sunday nights so probably other days are better.
