Let me first say that the property and room were comfortable. We stayed here last year and they had construction going on, need less to say the construction is still ongoing. I really hope that they had touch up work to do in the room we were in cause there were things in bathroom that was absolutely horrible from a construction standpoint. Mud for drywall not sanded or painted, silicone was sloppy on tile and in places where it shouldn’t be, and grout missing from tiles on the floor. This is a Hilton property and as I stated earlier if the room, if finished, to me shouldn’t be up to Hilton standards. None of this affected our stay though. Bed and the room were comfortable and met what we expected. Will stay here again.

Construction

It’s convenient to the highway. There’s an excellent Mexican restaurant (Margarita Grill) right across the parking lot (fresh guacamole made right at your table!) They gave us free bottles of water & snacks at check in.

They were renovating the Lobby- putting in new tile flooring. This limited the seating for the breakfast area & opportunities for our group to meet up. Why did they schedule this work for Memorial Weekend? It would’ve been better to have it done on a weekday during off peak travel times.

Hotel staff was very friendly on check-in and the Booking.com rate was honored. Hotel was conveniently located to the interstate, but far enough away to keep the road noise down. The room was recently updated and bathroom was well equipped and clean.

Parking lot was quite full and we had to park at the very end. There was construction going on to update the hotel and some of those rough edges were visible. Pillows were very light and not very supportive. The breakfast was adequate but not great.

Breakfast had good options. Room was clean and met our needs. Front desk staff very friendly. Also appreciated the doggie treast at the front desk for our four legged companion.

There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom and a gap under the bathroom door of close to an inch and a half. Wondered what happended there.

Upgrades going on, noisy but not a problem. Hotel staff was friendly, no problems during our stay. Excellent hot breakfast and plenty of clean, comfortable seating. Nice fireplace and TV in dining area. Hotel manager Cynthia was very friendly and made sure that we were comfortable.

Breakfast staff not friendly, closed the bar down before the posted time. Swimming pool needed cleaning but was not nasty, hotel manager addressed.

Check-in was easy. Front desk person, Brooke was very friendly and extremely helpful. We had dinner with friends at the Margaritaville Restaurant which is located in front of the hotel and the food was delicious, service was friendly and quick. Breakfast was what I typically get at any Hampton Inn, it was good and hot. Waffles are my favorite!

Brooke, the lady on the front desk who checked us in gave us exceptional & friendly service with emergency contact information in case of potential need for our medical condition. Also information for veterinary services should we have needed them. The breakfast was delicious.

Love the staff and the breakfast. The room was spacious. In a pretty good area.

The room was spacious but as soon as we walked in it smelled like a pack of cigarettes. It didn't have anything on the booking about any smoking room. Didn't really enjoy having to endure that smell but we've been up for more than 16hrs so we were too tired to go through the hassle of getting another room. All and all if I can get a room that doesn't smell like smoke I'll go back.

The continental breakfast was ontime, plentiful, with a variety of menu items. As always, allprepared food was delicious, my grandson enjoyed the waffle and fruit loops!

I actually gave this some thought and my only request would be an updated TV guide or a remote for the TV with the ability to pull up a guide.

Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, huge room.

The bed and pillows weren’t great. Also the shower door kept opening up on its own while showering. We tried it in both positions but it would quietly roll back open. 🤷🏼‍♀️I also had a problem getting the air to come back on despite turning the thermostat down.
