Staff was great. Cookies a great asset

Dead or dying flowers at the entrance. 1st impression?? A little water. How difficult is that for staff standing or sitting around. Hotel really showing its age. Supposed to have maid service both days. Finally told them Sunday morning we were out of towels and would be out of the room for 2 hours. 6 hours later I had to speak to the lady in the hallway to find out when they would clean our room. Big communication problems. Finally after we were both frustrated she finally figured it out. Not good.

Everything was clean, cozy and wonderful breakfast.

We had a cheer competition that weekend and was ready for a hot shower when we came to the hotel. Unfortunately, our shower faucet didn’t not have hot water. The handle seemed to be put on incorrectly as well. We had hot water in the sink just not the shower. I called the front desk about this and was told maintenance had left for the day and all rooms were booked so they couldn’t move us.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast, but the attendant was right there making sure everything was stocked and clean. The room was clean and as advertised.

There was only one working elevator. There was food on the floor of the elevator like someone spilled crackers and stepped all over. We notified the staff and the next day it was still in there.

The beds were very comfortable.

One of two elevators was broken. The one remaining elevator had many restrictions on it to prevent it from breaking. I found this issue in 3 of 4 Marriott hotels we visited. It would be interesting to know if all elevators were down for same reason. Marriott should have a company looking into this issue.

The location and the staff was exceptional..they were friendly. My check out time on booking.com was 12 but the cleaning staff said 11..I went to the front desk and the guy fixed the check out to 12. If Iam in Birmingham I will stay there again. Great price great location.

Everything was good

It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast bar was fully stocked and dining area clean and inviting. The manager Marcia and her staff went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable. Our check in clerk Brent was especially pleasant. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

Jasmyne was great, although the only person available so she was wearing many hats. Loved the cookies.

The water temp in the shower wasn’t hot, barely warm. Could hear person in next room snoring all night long.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was great! The room was clean and the hotel was quiet. I would recommend this hotel, especially at the price point.

Nothing

This hotel was spotless and we had a stunning water view. The staff upon checkin was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations for dinner. Loved that the parking was only $7 on this side of the river.

Our only disappointment was that the Pool was super small.

Staff was excellent, happy to help and super helpful with anything we needed. Rooms were clean and taken well care of. The free breakfast was great, as well. The eating area was clean and cozy.

The mobile key didn't work for us. That would have been nice to have, but once again, the front desk was super helpful and got us room keys to get into our room immediately.
