I was attending the Star Wars Celebration at Makuhari Messe. The Chiba Port Plaza hotel is in an excellent location for this, taking less than 10 minutes on the train to Kaihimmakuhari station (and the hotel is only 3mins walk from Chibaminato station). The staff were very polite and helpful, and the hotel very clean. The shower was fantastic! Good pressure and water volume.

The bed was comfortable but a little small for a tall person such as me (190cm). It's possible the room was once a smoking room. I used the provided air freshener each time I entered the room. The buffet breakfast was fine for having a good, solid meal, but the selection was limited.

Helpful staff and very friendly. Very gd selection of food for breakfast, and very close to Chibaminato train station so travelling is very convenient. We booked a taxi via hotel to go to Chiba train station (5min taxi ride) as it was raining but you can also take the monorail which will also get you to Chiba station so you can take train to Narita Airport (approx 30-40min ride) which is shorter trip compared to travelling from Tokyo. I also did the luggage transfer from my Tokyo hotel and this hotel was able to hold my luggage until I checked-in a few days later which was a life-saver!

The location next to the subway station was quite convenient. The Internet connection was generally fast and stable.

The main issue was the staff were not particularly helpful or friendly. In particular the restaurant staff seemed quite lazy. I asked for a glass of water on a few occasions, and it took me around three asks for them to finally give me one. Which seems a bit ridiculous. Particularly since they were doing nothing particular at that moment, except scrolling in their phones.

Just beside Chibaminato and Chiba Monorail stations. The room is spacious. The lounge sofa. The wonderful view of the harbor. There is also a quiet (not chaotic) bus terminal just beside the hotel going to Chiba station and Tateyama. A mini-mart, drugstore and bakery inside the train station.

The room was not thoroughly cleaned when I checked in. The housekeeping staff missed a corner. It was soiled with crumbs and aluminum wrapper.

It looked very lavish. Room was clean and it had a very nice view. Staff was very helpful when I had trouble finding the building. There was a refrigerator in the room. Microwave and ice are available, just on a different floor.

The only thing I didn't like was how small the room was, but for only one person it's ok. Plus as long as you are out of the room more than in the room it is ok.

Good location for us as we had very heavy luggage, and were able to stagger 2 minutes from the Chibaminato JR station to the hotel. This was perfect for a day trip to Tokyo Disneyland before heading off from Narita airport. The hotel is top-class, with a great room overlooking the bay. At 1600 Yen the buffet breakfast was excellent value with a great selection. We also enjoyed catching the "upside down" monorail into Chibato to visit the Cultural Folk museum and do some shopping.

All great.

We loved that the hotel was steps away from Chiba Station, and there was a mall 15-20mins train ride away. Also, we walked within the neighborhood and found a bowling alley (Ashli Bowling Alley), we had so much fun!

Nothing, we tried to extend our stay but they had no availability.

Good hotel with plenty of facilities to enjoy. Very close to a train station, konbini, supermarket and pharmacy. The staff was extremely polite and gentle. 10/10 service.

There weren't many restaurant options close by. You need to go a little distance to find more.

Train n supermarket right next to it..lovely town quiet n clean..the bed was comfortable..staff were friendly..the tram ride can take you right to the end of line if you like easy access to any stops for shopping

Not many eateries around this area..you had to go to Chiba for good food

Extremely great and decorated interior when I went in. Took me quite aback! Two minute walk from the station. Extremely accessible! Interior was big and had a couch-bed that i could lie on after entering the room. Huge vending machine area for any drinks.

There arent really a lot of good food options around the area. I would highly recommend eating around Chiba Station before taking the monorail back.
