The room is a bit "dated". The flowery bedspreads, the furniture etc. However, if you are lucky enough to get a floor room, overlooking the Rogue River, it doesn't matter one bit! To open the French doors, and hear the soothing sound of water, makes this place very special. There was a bit of a musty smell, when we first entered the room. Not sure what it is, but I remember the same thing when I stayed here seven years ago. This time, we brought our dog with us. It was sweet that I was given a little "Doggy Gift Bag". It contained a sheet that they asked us to put over the couch. No problem! There were some poop bags and a few treats. There's a coffee maker (we bring our own Keurig), microwave and refrigerator, as well. As a bonus, there's a lovely trail that leads to an RV Park. Here, we met friendly fishermen who were happy to smile and chat with us. Our dog enjoyed the short walk around the property. I did notice that the housekeepers were washing bedspreads, so that's good to know! There is no daily housekeeping service (seems to be common for all hotels where we've stayed, since COVID). We were only there for three days, so that was okay with us.

I wouldn't say there was anything we didn't like I mentioned the unpleasant odor, when we first entered the room. The Jacuzzi, we chose not to use. It looked a bit "brown" around the edges, and wasn't inviting. Not a huge deterrent.

The desk clerk was very nice and helpful. I upgraded to the river front from the room I booked and was very happy with the beautiful sound of the river and gorgeous scenery. It was well worth the price!

Pretty much no maid service unless I asked a maid or went to the front desk. It would be better if at least the maid would check on the guests to see if there is anything they need.

One unit was on the river. It was just beautiful. We sat on the balcony and enjoyed the water!! We also used the hot tub...so soothing. A guest was there playing the guitar and singing. He was exceptional and it made our stay magical!

A transformer in town blew and we lost electricity but only for a short while in the morning. Staff was extremely helpful and of course this was out of their control! It did make our stay memorable!!

Coffee was the offer of the day. Loved the water view. Had to get directions to the ice machines as there was no signage that I could see. The bed has some kind of a cover on it that when my husband got in and out of bed it made a lot of noise 😂 other than that it was a good night

I loved that we had a balcony overlooking the Rogue River. The room had a small kitchenette and a comfy seating area. The wifi worked great. There was free coffee provided. The hotel room and grounds were clean, beautiful, well-maintained. We enjoyed the hot tub and the swimming pool. And, we did not hear guests in other rooms when we were in our room. Everything in our room worked perfectly. Overall, a really great lodging experience.

River view room was nice. Asked for ground floor room and they accommodated.

Very busy (Memorial Day) with two people at front counter but only one person could be helped at a tome. Waited 10 minutes to get more coffee! Rooms are basic and small but clean. Coffee in lobby at 7:00 am but no extra touches to add value.

Setting on the room’s balcony watching the Rogue roll by was totally stress releasing.

In 52 year of camping this was the only time I had something stolen. A 7 gallon water can was lifted Fromm the front of the trailer. I don’t blame the property on any way, just leaves a distaste.

location! Wow! Overlooking the Rouge River and and watching rafters and fishermen floating the river. Sat on balcony and watched the sits and wavered at the river goers! Hotel is right across the river from a great Mexican restaurant and a block away from a gem called the Mac’s Diner!

Slow on check-in…. We asked for early check-in over a month in advance and finally got in at 15:59 hrs….

Have stayed here many times. It is always clean, friendly staff, very peaceful, comfortable stay

We had a River view room with little patio. Gentlemen next smoked like a chimney out on his patio. So every time we were out on the patio it smelled like cigarettes. This was in no way the hotel’s fault. I have asthma so didn’t really get to enjoy our patio River view as much as I had hoped.

Quiet location, an hour from national park, large convenient room with fridge and microwave. Supermarket and gas station nearby.

Bedsheets in one of the bed were stained, not very appealing.
