A big thank you to Brownsville Motel, and especially to Lori, the wonderful owner, and her sweet dog, Butter Cup. I live in the Bay Area and traveled up there to focus on finishing my memoir. My goal was to find a clean, comfortable room in the countryside with a desk where I could work peacefully--and the accommodations exceeded my expectations. Lori's dedication to hospitality truly stood out. Someone is always on the property, so no matter what I needed, Lori was at my door with a solution. One evening, she even went into town just to get me a large bottle of body wash. Now that's service! If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend staying here. For those planning a longer visit (I stayed for a week), I suggest bringing along some of your favorite food supplies. While there is a new store just up the street, having a stocked fridge and microwave in the room makes for an even more convenient stay. Thank you, Lori, for such a lovely experience. There was no breakfast. We were given a list of wonderful places to eat all around a 20 minute drive. I did not know that which was disappointing as we had our grandson with us who eats a lot. But luckily I had a few snacks with us. I liked the bed and pillows, but there was a slight issue with the beds.

The bed springs creaked. The curtain rod was missing an end which was not very attractive. The grounds keeper was blowing dust all around as we were trying to leave. Usually they stop and wait until guests have left then resume work.

Everything went great! We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room, the cozy atmosphere, as well as the clean pastels, which is very important. The place is very quiet, the room was overlooking the forest.

Poor sound insulation of the rooms, you can hear coughing in the next room, as if in your room.

Cute little motel! It was clean and comfortable, making it a great stop before our long hike. The cafe down the road (Clover Cafe) was recommended by the owner, and it did not disappoint! We recommend making that as part of your stay here.

I wish the room had lotion, but overwise, everything met expectations.

Everything was perfect! This was our 2nd time staying at this motel! Brownsville Motel is by far the cleanest and best motel we've stayed at and I stay at alot of hotels! Keep up the awesome work Brownsville Motel!! See you again soon

my husband and I loved are stay the room was beautiful.the outdoors and the area was very nice also,The front desk was so kind and very helpful with all are questions and commadated us with everything we asked for We highly recommend this place.We most deffently will stay again if we ever visit Brownsville again what a beautiful

Description was slightly misleading

I stay at this hotel frequently when visiting family, generally quiet and friendly location. Beautiful area. Not too many places to eat without driving a little.

One of my visits had the downstairs neighbor arguing with their guest and management handled the situation right away and had no further issues. Thank you for that!

The scenery was beautiful and the hotel was cute. All the decor in the room is perfect and beautiful. The wooden cross outside is a great touch. You can really see the light in these people and that they take pride in their work

It was clean, spacious and the staff was very courteous.

There was no drip coffee maker. They instead provided instant coffee and a microwave and no stir stick to mix it. I was going to grab a pen and paper and leave a quick little note, but there were no pen and paper. A bedside lamp with a dim bulb with a USB port would have been nice. As, it was difficult to find our way to the bathroom at night. And, the only free outlet was by the desk.
