Hotel is in the centre of a very quiet country village. No traffic noise during the hours of darkness. Had the best night's sleep I've had in ages. I'd go back there for the sleep quality alone! Staff very friendly (and English speaking) and helpfull. When the battery in my vehicle died they called a local garage for me and had me back on the road in 10 minutes and pointed towards the nearest main dealer for my vehicle. They were also able to recommend some very good resturants nearby (as in within 10 mins walking distance) one of them Michelin recommended. We had some very good meals at reasonable prices during our stay. There are lots of Chateau's and museums nearby - again one less than a 10 min walk away. Surounding countryside is all farmland and driving along the quiet roads had a very relaxing "olde worlde" feel to it. Hotel has it's own parking area and appears to get quite a lot of cyclists. Very good continental breakfast available (extra cost) in a dining room that stood out for its spotlessness - no matter how busy. Would definetly recommend this place!

Lovely hotel in quiet location close to the centre of a beautiful town. Well placed for town amenities and exploring local chateaux. Hotel had its own small car park at the front. Room was spacious and comfortable. Lovely French windows and small balcony. No evening meals but loads of lovely restaurants couple of minutes away and owner gave us good recommendations. Breakfast was very good in a nice dining room. Staff were lovely - friendly and professional. Great value. Will definitely return.

The manager was welcoming and informative. The room was very clean and quiet. We chse to pay for breakfast (continental) and there was a lovely variety of food. Parking off road in front of hotel. It’s easy to walk round Azay-le-Rideau from this hotel; Azay is a beautifully preserved medieval village/small town with a chateau, some shops, bars & restaurants.

Fabulous location for an authentic French village. The rooms are spotlessly clean and nice. The private carpark in the rear of Hotel, was an extra bonus (especially in high season). The receptionist is a very helpful, polite, provisional person. The Hotel is dog friendly, our stay was a pleasure.👍👍👍 . Excellent value for money.

The room was clean and spacious. Nice hot shower. Close to the town and facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. We cycled and there was a place to put our bikes over night.

Good location, the room was a decent size and very clean, the bed was large and comfortable, and all the facilities worked well. The shower etc. was not as modern as many hotels but this doesn't bother us one slightest bit. Check in was pleasant and the proprietor was very helpful. Breakfast was good.

Not a criticism at all, but a Tea and coffee making facility in the room would be welcomed.

The hotel is very nice. The staff was excellent and helpful. It is in the center of the lovely village of Azay-le-Rideau.
