We decided to take a quick trip to Lynchburg and after reading reviews chose to stay at this hotel. We arrived late at night and the clerk was great, efficient, and provided information on where to go for breakfast. The moment I opened the door to our room, I knew that I wouldn't be disappointed. The two things that inspired me to stay at this hotel were the comments in the reviews concerning the cleanliness of the room and comfort of the bed. The room was tastefully decorated and the main room and bathroom area were very clean. My husband and I agreed that our bed (we each had a queen bed) was one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. We definitely will return to this hotel on our next visit to Lynchburg.

The proprietor was very helpful and courteous allowing me to check in early and providing a lot of information about Lynchburg. The bed was very comfortable, shower had sufficient pressure and warmth and the A/C was very effective. Although I did not walk myself, it would have taken about 20 minutes to walk to the Jack Daniel's distillery. Given the small number of eateries in the town and the fact that they close relatively early, it was very convenient to be within a very short walking distance to the Subway adjacent to the property.

Facility exceeded my expectations and there was nothing I could think of that would need improved.

My wife and I took a late Valentine’s Day getaway to Lynchburg, TN, over the President’s Day weekend (2024). Originally, we were going to stay in Tullahoma; however, after seeing the reviews for the Lynchburg Country Inn, I decided to chance it. When we arrived, the manager allowed us to check in early because we made better time than I originally thought we would (220 miles). He was very personable and offered good advice on how to see the attractions in the area. Now, mind you, this isn’t a five-star motel with a bunch of fluff and frills, but it was clean, very clean. I always check my room thoroughly before bringing in my luggage, especially for signs of bed bugs and vermin, and room #207 passed muster. The bed was comfortable, and the room had a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The only issues, if that’s what you want to call them, were the lack of chairs and the fact that one of the towels had a slight stain; however, it had a faint smell of bleach, so there was no issue with it being sanitary. We liked the fact that the floor was laminate rather than carpet because of the sanitary issues that sometimes come with carpeted floors. As with all older motels, the walls were somewhat thin; however, there were no major noise issues, and the TV had an excellent choice of channels. Overall, for the price I paid, I was extremely happy with my stay. The motel could invest in a little more variety concerning the vending selection, but there’s a Subway and Chinese restaurant next door and a Dollar General within a 3-minute walk. I have no issues recommending this small, independently owned motel, which meets all the basic needs of the traveler. In summary, it’s clean, quiet, and a good value for the money. 

On a road-trip we arrived early. The check-in was easy, the manager/owner sorted us out and the room was still being cleaned, he went and helped the cleaner to get it done quicker! The room was as you'd expect, also clean and tidy with parking right outside the door. It's literally a 2 minute drive to the town centre and 3 minutes to Jack Daniels. The a/c was the best we had found on our road trip. Definitely exceeded our expectations and excellent value for money!

Excellent location to get access to the JD distillery, as the chances are, if you are staying here you are going to the visitor centre, 10 minute walk and 5 minutes to the final resting place of Jasper Daniel (Jack Daniel himself). Clean and tidy with walking access to a Subway and a Chinese restaurant, a minute away and 10 minute walk to other restaurants and gift shops.

The place was clean and you could tell the owner's car about the hotel. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom and room was clean. Good location and can't beat the price.

The bathroom had a separate door where the shower and the toilet were. It had an odd smell, so we kept the fan running. Not sure why since it was clean. I recommended something for it, and the owner seemed happy to try it so hopefully it helps!

Beds were very comfortable. It only has one floor so no elevators to deal with and you can park right in front of your room. Pet friendly.

No swimming pool. Needs some updates in the bathroom and around the vanity. Things are a little outdated.

The Lynchburg Country Inn was perfectly located for us, visiting Jack Daniel's, Lynchburg, and Miss Mary BoBo's. It was in easy walking distance of all attractions for the town and reasonably priced. It is a very traditional motel style of accommodation. The rooms had microwave and full sized fridge as well as TV. As the hotel does not serve food this was helpful. However there is a subway and chinese restaurant next door and also a grocery store a couple of minutes walk away. The staff were super friendly and so hard working. Housekeeping was excellent, with the rooms cleaned and serviced every day. We loved our stay

The room was located within 10-15mins walking distance from downtown Lynchburg. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower water pressure was great and hot water was good. Wifi was good. The staff were super helpful, A+ for staff.

The faucet water pressure was barely adequate. The breakfast is just honey buns, coffee cakes, apples, and bananas. I was hoping for more.
