Perfect stop over to explore the beautiful surrounding area, esp Sintra! Enjoyed the use of the pool table, beautiful large garden and patio with lush hillside views. Breakfast & coffee was most enjoyable too. The family room was rather small but our balcony was an added bonus for outdoor space.

I really enjoyed my stay — the view was beautiful, the food was great, and the overall atmosphere of the place was lovely. The city itself was charming, and I especially liked the piano in the reception area. Both the small terrace with the rooms and the breakfast terrace were delightful spots to relax. The breakfast spread was fantastic, though I did miss having eggs. Parking was free so that was a plus!

The room can be a little cramped for 4 people. We had 2 beds and a bunk bed the kids. The road to the hotel from Sintra has some serious narrow areas and bends (if you are driving).

The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful - everything was fresh, including homemade jam, fruits, veggies, cheese, and meat. They had a crepe maker that made for a treat at breakfast. We had 2 rooms - a double and a family room. Our double room had a very nice balcony overlooking the gardens. The family room actually had 2 bathrooms and a couch and desk. It was very spacious. The location was a little farther out than I thought from Sintra (my fault to think that, not theirs) but was a great compromise because it was closer to the ocean. 😀 Just an fyi- you need to put in WOT Sarrazola in Google to find the hotel, not the address listed... that will just get you in the vicinity.

Beds were on the firm side, but not too bad.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was nice and everything was clean. In the lobby/common room there was a kids area with games and paintings which made my daughter enjoy every moment and for us to eat breakfast in peace.

The bathroom in the rooms were kind of old, not well managed with no storing area at all. Also the water pressure was not the best. It was weird as the quality of the rest of the place was on a much better level.

'European' Style breakfast provided, adequate selection with fruit as well. Felt very inviting, lovely terrace off the lobby/breakfast area. Very well maintained. Free Parking available. Shower pressure very good. Helpful, friendly staff. Comfy beds, good linen. Closet space exc., good decor. Very quiet area, easy to rest/sleep. Sound between rooms was not noticeable. Pictures on line were good representation.

It seemed difficult to heat the bthrm., main rm stayed warm. Dlx.Dbl had a cute balcony that would be lovely in warmer weather however the entry was off the bthrm which made it a bit chilly, combined with the tiled floor it was cold on the feet even with socks on. The entry/exit is a bit awkward to see as it is on a corner on a narrow road. This also made it difficult upon exiting to see the traffic and requires extra caution.

It is a lovely old hotel in the mountains just inland from the coast. The room was quite nice and there used to be a pretty formal garden in back to stroll around. Small villages and towns are nearby within easy driving distance. Parking is on site and there’s a good ramp from parking to the patio outside the lobby, and an elevator to the rooms.

The address confused our GPS and took a while to find. The are is not pedestrian-friendly - outside the centers of villages there are neither sidewalks nor level verges.

Smell of mold in the bathroom because of the humidity. Not actually accurate if one uses GPS to find/arrive at the hotel, the pin with the location of the hotel Is put somehow in the middle of the main street. Rooms are not well sound isolated, during the night one can easily hear the elevator in the main hallway or people moving and walking around.

Very good location for visiting Sintra and the beach. Good breakfast, spacious parking and big room with comfortable bed. You can order food from a small menu and they have great beer on tap with reasonable prices. Overall great value for money.

Shower water was not hot and air conditioning was malfunctioning but we arrived late and did not want to ask for another room. The night staff was polite but did not speak adequate English.

This hotel is classified as a 3 star hotel and as such, the standards are 3 star. However the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times and this is what made it a 4 star for us. Very very good staff.

Shower was a little tatty and small.

Accommodation in a beautiful location. All clean, quiet and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised and definitely recommend this accommodation. Really romantic accommodation where you will find peace after a busy tourist day. The breakfast was absolutely satisfactory.
