The location of this hotel could not be better, right in the centre of town. The hotel is very modern with every facility you could want including a restaurant. Within easy walking distance you come to the heart of Urbino with all the main buildings, both ecclesiastical and University. Superb selection of cafes / restaurants / tavernas are right on the doorstep. Well worth a visit not a mega tourist hub but lively with a big university student population

Nothing to dislike at all. Bearing in mind this is a classical hilltop medieval town (city) parking a car is, as in any similar location, problematic, but there is a huge parking area just below the town centre and an excellent lift system to get you to and fro.

Great location. Staff were all kind and helpful. Breakfast very good with plenty of variety. Room was OK. A basic hotel room (single) so very small as expected. Bathroom could have been cleaner. My only complaint is the room was too warm and stuffy and the only way to drop the temp was to open the window because the temp regulation is completely automated. With the window open all the street noise was very bad. People noise stopped at a reasonable hour (22:00), but morning street cleaners started about 6:00 so that is when you are awake. Like it or not.

Perfect location in heart of the old town, and across the street from the Duke's Palace! The staff is always ready to help. Breakfast goes well beyond a continental breakfast, and often has home-made baked surprises! Pay careful attention to the hotel's email on the parking and driving details within Arbino. Fear not, if the front desk knows that you have driven your car, the staff can take care of any pending fine you were just given, trying to get to the hotel. ;-) This is my second visit, and I'm certain I will return!

This historical hotel is ideally situated for walking to various attractions in Urbino. The staff were friendly and professional, especially Emmanuella who went above and beyond assisting us to organise bus and train tickets moving forward. Our room was clean and comfortable with a small balcony and stunning view across terracotta rooftops to an adjacent park and fort. The breakfast included in our booking was tasty and plentiful.

Access to the outdoor terrace during cold weather would be a bonus.

Lovely place to stay that has a certain charm all of its own despite its somewhat dated look.. We had a super two night stay here with a great and super clean room, good breakfast and within a few meters of the main square in Urbino which was super convenient. I would recommend a room at the back of the building which has some great views and are quieter. Recommended and great value for money. Look forward to my next visit

Decor is a bit dated but i found that it added to the character of the place. Rest was all more than ok

The staff member we met was extremely helpful to us. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short and return home urgently for personal reasons, but the chap (sorry I didn't get his name) was wonderful in arranging everything without any hassle. Fair play to him. The hotel is very well situated right in the centre of Urbino historic centre, 5 mins to the Palazzo Ducale and the Duomo, plus lots of eateries. The room was comfortable. Due to circumstances, we didn't get to have breakfast. Getting to Urbino and Albergo Italia from the Trenitalia stazione at Pesaro (35km, approx 1 hour away) was thankfully easier than expected, but better information should be provided by both the hotel and Urbino tourism generally. Adriabus runs from/to Pesaro train station to Urbino's Porta St Lucia bus depot every half hour (approx €4 pp each way, takes 55 mins). At Urbino's Porta St Lucia bus depot there are elevators to bring you up 10 floors higher to the ancient Porta St Lucia gate. From there it's approx 5-10 mins walk, slightly downhill to Albergo Italia.

Better information should be provided by both the hotel and Urbino tourism, generally.

Great location close to the main square and sights. Good buffet breakfast with fruit, coffee, cereal, cakes, boiled egg, cheese, and meat. Nice modern feel.

The WiFi was awful. You had to sign in each time you left the room, even if you just went downstairs. It took a long time to sign in the first time. Get rid of Ian’s just use normal type. The bed was small for the price.

Perfect location, one block to the main square in the old town. The room and bed were comfortable. The room was very quiet. There is an elevator. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. There was lots of choice for breakfast including eggs, fruit, yogurt and the usual cakes and sweets. The hotel is very close to the city sites. An excellent choice!

Location, Location, Location.5 minutes on foot from palazzo Ducale. Receptionist speaks good English.

Just a price, but as it was in the middle of the festival, no choice. lucky we could book a room in the town. And coffee of the breakfast., but for the price of the breakfast, no complain. let's have another one in the town.

This hotel is very centrally located, rooms with good size, comfortable, shower is easy, beds comfortable and helpfull staff. In comparison with my previous, four star hotel, this was better.

Welll, excellent location has a potential drawback if your room is on the street. A bit noisy as many students were celebrating graduation. That's nice, but, stil, it is some noise.
