Loved our stay at Dreamcatcher Tipi Hotel! The beds were comfortable and we slept so well every night. It was not too hot, not too cold, just the right temperature for a good sleep. The room was equipped with heaters and electric blanket, just in case the nights would get too chilly. There was also a fan. The breakfast was both hearty and healthy. There were many options: soups, hard-boiled eggs, and plenty of oatmeal selections, along with granola bars, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, and cheese. It felt like the perfect balance of comfort food and nutritious choices to start the day before exploring Yellowstone. Evenings around the fire making s’mores were such a nice touch and made it feel extra special. Such a cozy and fun place to stay – we’d definitely come back!

The view was amazing. We encountered wildlife the whole stay. They’re just right there in the middle of the campground. Place was cozy. The toilet and baths are pristine. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Plus, we didnt expect the free wine, beer, snacks and smores nightly. The sheets they used were top tier hotel grade. After hotel hopping from West Entrance and inside the park hotels, which disappointed us, our last night at Dreamcatcher Tipi made us want to go back to YNP. Wished we just stayed here the whole trip. It is 20mins away from North Entrance/ Mammoth Springs and 1hr away from Lamar Valley. Worth the money!! And did I mention they have the fastest wifi from all our stays? tell you, there’s no cell reception and wifi almost all area in the park.

Breakfast can be better

It’s a truly unique and magical stay. We had a great time enjoying the communal fire and free s’mores and drinks with fellow travelers and take in the view. As it rained a little bit, we even saw double rainbows! The fire place outside of the tipi also encouraged us to stay outside to appreciate the sunset among the mountains, and saw a deer pass by. The facilities were also clean and have good designs. It felt super comfy lying on the bed in the tipi.

- The restroom/shower is a bit far away from the tipi, especially for elderly people who wake up during the night it is challenging to navigate back to the tipi despite there are handheld LED lights - Lots of insects in the tipi especially at night, which we weren’t very prepared for because we never camped before - but this is part of the nature that we enjoyed - Quite pricey, though unique

Wonderfully comfortable bed. Tipi was immaculate and a lot of fun to sleep in. Visited every night by resident elk population was cream on top. Good location slightly out of town suited for quiet nights sleep. S’mores by campfire and under setting sun won’t be forgotten in a long time.

Separate amenities were welll kept though in demand at certain times is a bit of a challenge. Be good if number of amenities matched tipi numbers for a more private/exclusive experience

Beautiful location and really well set up with all amenities you might need. Loved the evening camp fire and individual fire pits for each tipi. Tipi was lovely, cosy, comfortable and warm with heaters if needed. Elk roamed into the camp in the evening too, sharing the space with us guests, which was cool. Really enjoyed our stay and the glamping experience!

Breakfast was a little bit of an after thought. Coffee and cold options like cereal, yogurt etc. Not a problem overall but definitely would need to find a spot close by for a proper breakfast. No other evening food options either, so local dining options are the way forward here.

This is by far the most beautiful, peaceful, fun place to stay!! We loved it and our group are all city folks. The facilities were so clean and beautiful. The restroom/shower rooms were so clean and there was staff onsite to make sure they were always clean and stocked. The tipis themselves were so comfortable! The beds were perfect and there were lamps on each side of the bed and heaters to keep it warm at night. We enjoyed the personal fire pit at night and the amazing view of the stars. There were deer walking around the hills surrounding the facilities and the group fire pit, smores, and drinks were so much fun at night. They had blankets available to cover up while sitting under the stars. The breakfast and check in tent were amazing too!! So many cute things in the shop and lots of amazing goodies for breakfast. There was a water cooler too available at all times. We all slept soooo good in the fresh air and even woke up to a thunderstorm, which was amazing. We absolutely loved this place and it was worth every penny for such a fun adventure. We left feeling so grounded and relaxed. We hope to be back someday. Oh, and the staff was wonderful and sooo nice!! If you are contemplating booking, just do it!! It was our groups favorite stay on the whole trip!! And for dinner go into town to Wonderland cafe, locally sourced food and sooo yummy!!

Breakfast had many options and was well presented and stocked. Space heaters were perfect for a chilly night and the electric blankets were also perfect. The bathrooms were always spotless and looked like they were cleaned in between each user.

Children were not being monitored by parents and were running around screaming at 10:30 at night. Luckily the staff did step in. I think it would help to post more notice about quiet hours throughout and remind folks as they check in. The wifi was not extremely reliable, however I didn't go to Montana to work or spend my day on it!

I've already recommended the tipi camp to others for a unique stay near Yellowstone Park. I didn't know what to expect, exactly, but it by far exceeded all my hopes. The tipis were beautiful. The s'mores (for our daughter) and happy hour for adults knocked the experience out of the park! Additional note 1: The individual fire pits at each tipi were also a nice welcome addition. Additional Note 2: The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful!

We loved the tipis. I do wish breakfast started a little earlier due to us being gone before 7 AM to go to Yellowstone. Also a bit pricey, but the accommodations were a nice touch! We also got to see some elk in the mornings! I was worried it would be hot since we stayed in august, but we were gone most of the day and by night it cooled down! Would stay here again!

Perfectly located from Gardiner and Yellowstone North Entrance (when it will re open so beware). Very nice setting, tipis are very comfortable and nicely decorated. They have heating and even wi-fi which we could not find inside the Yellowstone hotels. The showers spaces are very spacious and well kept. They are officially shared but are so numerous that in the end everyone had more or less private one. We particularly enjoyed the camp fire with the drinks at sunset when we could discuss nicely with other guests. Finally we loved seing elks strolling freely in the property.

We stayed two nights, but were surprised that our beds were not done after our first night. Getting to Yellowstone North gate is unfortunately impossible due to repair job unless using commercial vehicle. So we had to take over 4 hours from West gate to get there and the same time back.
