Hard working staff who does an exceptional job at maintaining the facility in top notch condition. Hot water & strong water pressure is a huge plus in Puerto. Pool is always clean & a nice touch to have. Love the early noise curfew, AC & fans in rooms, & how there aren’t too many beds in dorms.

I stay here whenever I am in Puerto, but for the first time the dorms were mixed, whereas in the past, it was not as far as I experienced. I was stuck in a room with all men who snored & smelled - for 4 days & did not have proper sleep during those days (even with earplugs).

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The location is great, close to two beaches and only 20 minutes by collectivo to La Punta. The pool is the social heart of the hostel and made it easy to meet people from all over the world. The staff were super helpful and created a really good, fun vibe. I originally planned a short stay but ended up extending twice because I loved it so much. The mix of ages was a big plus for me — as someone in my 30s I felt very comfortable and welcomed. Overall, this hostel has the perfect combination of great amenities, a friendly atmosphere, and the best people. Would definitely come back❤️❤️

Nothing I didn't like.

I LOVED my stay at Casa Losodeli. I stayed for almost three weeks and have felt so welcome - met amazing people, and the volunteers and staff are outstanding. The rooms are basic and clean (I stayed in four different room types during my time at Losodeli). Jesus, Diego, and Adrianna were always so much help - and I loved the activities they planned each night. The wifi was reliable with the exception of one day, which was huge for me since I'm working remotely. The location was great - walking distance to so many beaches and a 15 min drive to La Punta. I also rented a scooter for about two weeks which made getting around even easier. I'd totally come back here to stay! In fact, I will be back!

There wasn't much I didn't like. I learned to go with the flow - for example, there were elections during my time there, so sometimes there was music outside, or speeches being given, or like the last night, a party in the courtyard. I could have been bothered by the noise, but I ended up going down to the party and actually having a great time! When I stayed in the two bedroom apartment, it would have been nice to have curtains on the back door so I could see outside without having to have the actual door open. All very minor and nothing that would keep me from returning.

Losodeli had amazing WiFi making my work video calls seamless. The downstairs cafe is very good - fresh smoothies and delicious food! The swimming pool is well kept. There’re daily activities in addition to day trips; we took advantage of the bioluminescence tour! The staff is super friendly and helpful. We met some cool people. I highly recommend!

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The building is next to the main road so it can get noisy but this didn’t impact our stay since we sleep with earplugs.

Staff were lovely, I felt very safe and comfortable. It’s walkable to playa carizalillo which is the best beach for swimming and surfing and there are lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Aircon in rooms and coworking space worked great! The cafe has great food and staff were lovely! We stayed in two different rooms during our stay the budget with no tv and the larger one with king bed and balcony. The location of the larger one was preferable for noise as the back of the property connects with the carnival which plays very loud music to all hours so something to consider if this might be an issue for you. Cared for our luggage at check out safely. Smooth and easy!! The security guard to let us in when it got late was super helpful!! I would recommend and be happy to return!

quite a social place with a mix of spanish/ english speakers (although more spanish) and activities most evenings. We had a Studio room which was amazing, huge bed, very spacious and an amazing shower. The staff are super lovely and always ready to help. The pool and communal toilets and showers are a great addition to have. We were allowed to drop bags early and use the facilities whilst we waited for the room to be ready and then stay after we checked out until about 6pm which was really helpful- thanks to the hostel.

The kitchen in the studio room needs a few more utensils/ pots & pans for cooking. Location is good but can still hear some traffic as it’s near a main road and note it’s about 15 minute walk to the nearest beach (fine for us but just check before booking)

The big comfy bed and the best pillows Friendly staff and volunteers Social events..games nights etc plus discounted yoga, cafe, fitness. The pool! Shared kitchen. Happy hour prices! Location means you csn walk to many.locsl beaches. Loads of restaurants nearby including good value and really tasty ones! Great street food too. Also close to tge square with loads of cultural events. Helpful reception staff helped us upgrade when a better room became available for the same price! Fantastic housekeeping team. Clean towels daily!

We had a kitchen in our studio..could be better equipped with more cooking utensils and cutlery but perfect for self catering with big fridge.

This hostel was probably the reason why I liked staying in Puerto Escondido - easygoing space, not too much going on, so it's great for working - but enough that you can meet people there. The staff is super friendly, especially Jesus is a gem. The volunteers at the place did a great job at trying to drum up people for social events, though many were doing their own things.

Had a hard time booking a scooter through reception. So ended up using the free rental bikes which are definitely not made for 1,80 meter people, but thats a minor thing!

The room was large. Nice to have a pool. Close walk to Rinconda and nearby small swimming beaches. Close walk to big grocery store. Not a heap of restaurants around but a 150 peso taxi gets you to La Punta with heaps of dining options.

The fridge in the communal kitchen was disgusting! It smelt horrible and it wasn’t very cold, which made you not want to store food in there. They have plenty of staff and live in volunteers who should be clearing out old food regularly. For how much we paid per night I wish they provided beach towels and a hair dryer.

Beautiful facility and rooms. Pretty quiet but with some social activities so perfect for people who work and also crowd that does not want to party all the time… Recommend!

There is cafe that has good offer of food and drinks but stuff there is slow. I waited for breakfast 30 min while there was not many people in… There are so many of them constantly walking around and doing something but for some reason, efficiency is lacking. Stuff at the reception- amazing and very helpful! Cleaning stuff- as well remarkable
