Good location in Town. Restaurants, cafes, convenience/ grocery stores all a short walk. Although many shops and businesses are still closed from the fires, there is plenty open to accommodate. This is a Basic hotel, but spacious rooms & Comfy beds. Pub / hotel & Resturant on ground level. Hot tub on roof top is nice, although view isn’t much at the moment due to all the fire damaged forest.

Hotel is old with thin walls, ceiling & doors so if you have noisy people next door or above, you can hear them, along with room doors closing. Otherwise it’s pot luck if you get noise or not. My husband & I stayed 2 nights and had a good sleep although lots of noise from others woke us, but it was reasonable timing in the Morning. There is car parking, but very minimal so you need to book it in advance.

Location was great as dropped off by our bus from Calgary at the train station across the street from the hotel. Girls on reception were friendly, polite and professional. Room was a good size for one night. Bed was comfortable with nice linens, snuggly doona and a good size. Bathroom had a bath with overhead shower. Nice fluffly towels. Heating was good as it was very cold and wet when we arrived and -2 when we woke in the morning. Our room had a nice view of the park across the road. The hotel's Italian restaurant was great for breakfast and lunch. Great, friendly staff, good fresh food, good size portions with a good menu and wine list.

No kettle in the room just a coffee make which had a funny taste to the water we heated in it for tea - not a coffee taste but an electrical taste. Noisy plumbing throughout the night, we couldn't work out where the noise was coming from as no rooms above ours. We were in Room 219 and could hear people outside on the footpath at midnight- woke us both up. Hotel still using small plastic bottle of shampoo etc and package bath soap - find this wasteful as you don't use it all and not environmentally friendly.

Having rescheduled a visit to Jasper a little over two months since the fire, this was always going to be much stranger than in the past. However, my stay was everything I wanted and the hotel felt very much an independently run one as opposed to the numerous chains I had used over the last few weeks. Check in was straight forward. My room was two Queen sized beds and comfortably furnished. Coffee machine and everything in the bathroom was in good condition.

The only thing if I had to pick would be the tiny parking spots. But they were close. And of course the fire devastation around the town was sad. Nothing their fault.

The location is excellent for walking the town's bars and restaurants and extremely convenient for disembarking from the Rocky Mountaineer train as it's straight across the road from the station. The view from the room across the station with the mountain backdrop was superb. Hotel facilities are good and the Whistler's Pub attached to the hotel is well worth a visit.

My daughter and I have been coming to Jasper annually for the last five years and we have stayed at Whistler’s Inn three, and we love it.

My only complaint is regarding alcohol consumption in the hot tubs. The capacity is six people per tub and there are only two, so when people in groups are drinking they tend to spend a lot more time in the hot tub which makes them unavailable for others.

Beautiful, cozy room with lots of space, comfortable bed and decent shower. Had a lovely view of the mountains too.

Honestly would have given this place perfect score except there was a lot of noise at night, I think from furnace. If I didn’t have earplugs I think it would have been really disruptive. Also the curtains do not block out lights from hotel very well so anyone with sleep issues should bring a mask.

The roof top hot tub and location draws us back every time. Everything is always great here. There are a few spots to park behind the hotel, but even if parking is unavailable, there is a parking lot just across a slightly down the street that has lots of parking, and it is only a short walk.

We have no complaints! This was out 4th stay and every time it is great!

Stayed one night in Queen Room in September 2023. Great central location. Limited car parking for guests on site, but we managed to snaffle a spot. Good sized room. 2 queen beds. Good shower. Coffee making machine and fridge. Very clean. Reception staff (Josh) very friendly and helpful. Hot tub available in building but we didn't use it. Breakfast not included but we ate in restaurant on ground floor. Nice food, but, like everything else in Jasper including hotel, seemed expensive for what you got. That's the only reason didn't give hotel full marks. Would stay here again if back in Jasper.

Jasper seems expensive

Location was great- by the station which is what I needed. Right in the Centre of Jasper. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked (one of those old clunky wall mounted things). When my room key didn't work the Reception guy came up to help me.

The view was 💩 - overlooking the car park which was ugly. Trucks unloaded there leaving engines running which stank of diesel in the room. The morning reception staff were unfriendly- young students moaning about going back to school next week - not smiling or friendly. I had to go to the kitchen and find someone to seat me at breakfast as they were all out there chatting. Finally... there's only 1 lift - which is used by people making deliveries and the housekeeping staff. It was not my best stay in Canada
