We really like the ambiance of the hotel small but very clean and organized Staff including the security was very helpful. Even extended for few hours and price was very reasonable. Their cafe was really nice and had a relaxing ambiance. We would definitely recommend this place.

No convience store nearby when you need something not available at the hotel. There was a power outage and it was really dark in the room. If there was a generator it did not kick in quick enough. We had room service but had to eat my meal standing while the other sat on the only available chair. Did not want to eat on the bed.

Room was comfortable and clean. Free bottled water, complimentary cookies each day from room attendant. And a "thought for the day" Overall I enjoyed my stay.Had dinner, baked spaghetti and a monster basket of french fries crisp and lovely. Too many for the price charges. If I had a partner with me for sharing of course would have been delighted. Meal was excellent and good value.

There was an occasional noise in the exterior from a mechanical ventilator which shrieked on start up and was then quite noisy for a while. Maybe ventilation from car park or similar. ? Request for payment for "early check in" but they had rooms empty. I thought this was counterproductive for a friendly welcome. but I had paid an inexpensive price so I was not shocked, I waited for check in. At the same time as my wait in the coffee shop, a party of ten, including a child and a baby in arms was asked to wait for the check in time. again, if they had even one room available, it would have been helpful for that party as they had flown in from Oklahoma City in the USA. Again a short-sited policy for a hotel in these difficult economic times for hotels.

-Location is very near to tagbilaran port -clean facilities -courteous staff -free desserts at night delivered to my room. -1 fastfood is within the ground floor of the building so easy access

-breakfast can have more choices to choose from. -rainfall shower head is a bit loose. if used, a jet of water will splash through the wall and will go over the shower area making the sink area wet all over. -i got a corner room and noise from airduct outside my small window can be distracting.

The in-house cafe is convenient and absolutely lovely! Breakfast is served here as well and we were not disappointed. They offer a good variety of local and western dishes as well as fresh bread and delicious cake and pastries. The coffee was great, too! The whole place lives up to its name "Sweet Home". We had a great stay for the short transit through Tagbilaran and were happy that everything we needed was within walking distance: a few local restaurants, ATMs, a mall. All in all, a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

The only thing we could complain about would be the A/C. It's literally revving when in use. It's a phenomenon we noticed in several hotels throughout the Philippines - they like installing loud A/Cs. However, we know that there are A/C units in the market, which make minimal noise. That's the only improvement we could wish for.

We had the best stay in Sweet Home. It was all we wanted and more. Great location, clean and comfortable. The rooms and the hotel are perfectly designed to appeal to everyone. It is a central location and easy to access to the major shopping centres. All and all the best

Just the plumbing in the shower would have helped the water pressure from the shower head

The entire staff was excellent. Having not just one but two restaurants was very nice, especially the sweet bakery goods. Good variety of cable TV stations. It is a fairly quiet neighborhood, close to shopping, ATMs, and other restaurants, and walking distance from the ferry terminal. Good size room, hot water kettle, refrigerator, and a nightly cookie was especially nice.

Wifi could have been better. The information in booking.com about nightly wine and champagne needs to be corrected. And it was disappointing that at breakfast they ran out of bacon and sausage on the American breakfast option for several days.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very caring Reception staff (all of them). Location is ok, but very close to the port so convenient if you come and go by ferry. For tours it was no problem to be picked up there. Unfortunately no Pool that would be the only thing i missed but i new before. There is a small Café in the lobby with great internatiobal food, cakes and drinks. The rooms are clean and spacious. Bathroom as well.

Sweet Home Boutique Hotel became my home for a week! Everyone and everything in this hotel, was really good. I loved the cafe the meals & drinks were all nice. Quiet hotel, one block from the main street, away from the traffic noise. No karaoke bars. It was heaven!

Central location near the port. Huge bed, modern bathroom and the best shower we’ve had in 2 weeks in the Philippines. Excellent cold aircon and not too noisy. Friendly and kind staff.

We paid extra for a superior deluxe room, but unfortunately the balcony opened onto a main street and the soundproofing was shocking. We were awoken all night long by the sound of motorbikes despite sleeping with ear plugs in.

we spent here only one night but in my opinion this hotel is high level i would love to spend there more nights. the room and bathroom are huge, cleaness more than 10 points, atention for guests, wifi is super good, staff is nice. also there is nice cafe in the same building where they provide breakfast we tryed it and ir was really good. to be honest i was surprised how great was this hotel.
