Very comfortable quiet room. Front desk staff very nice. Called up after checking out so we could retrieve medicines we had accidentally left in room.

Housekeeper did not come until after 5 pm when we were getting ready for dinner so room was not cleaned and would not come back after 5:30 pm when we would be gone - garbage not emptied, toilet paper not replenished, sink and bathtub not cleaned. No sign to hang on door requesting housekeeping or do not disturb. Bed very high and difficult to get into, but bed itself was very comfortable.

The Vinea is well-located. Easy on/off access to US 101, a great coffee shop directly across the street, Big John's Market a block a way (offering hot food and salads to go and a great deli), and several nice restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is also very close to the Falls Creek pathway, which is ideal for a pleasant stroll or runners. The hotel itself is very pleasant.

The breakfast, though free, is limited to continental fare.

The staff at this hotel is exceptional. Robin who is at the Front Desk during the daytime is very professional and courteous. She is very attune to Guests' needs and tries her utmost to accommodate your comfort during your stay, and even let my park me car there while I was awaiting a local car repair appointment when my car brakes when out. I had to rent a separate car, which meant I had two cars, and a nervous time for me with two cars on my hands, and Robin understood while I was waiting for my car repair appointment! Beyond this, the room is quite small (like European size hotel rooms) but quite comfortable, although my television never worked for the three nights I stayed. A minor inconvenience if weighed against the quality of the hotel and Robin's wonderful professionalism toward her Guests. The housekeeping staff were very nice as well. The hotel is very close to the main Sonoma Transit bus stop which I had to take to pick up my rental car at the Santa Rosa Airport. I was so grateful to have Hotel Vinea at the end of each day, as they've got your back (and your comfort) while a Guest at their hotel.

No inside public space or area to sit outside of your room. Also, my television didn't operate while I stayed for 4 nights; or at least I couldn't get it to operate.

Stay was wonderful, management was great. Location was perfect for our needs. Very much appreciated the extra pillows and blanket we requested. Sadly, we didn't get to try the breakfast since we slept in.

Only three issues: 1. Bathroom offers a special shower feature that did not work. Or at least required instructions we couldn’t find 2. we requested a ground floor location we didnt receive. 3. Battery was dead on the remote control on our first visit. Although staff did address it timely And courteously when notified. Thank you 😎

It was wonderful and the receptionist was a delight. She had great suggestions for restaurants, grocery store and walking trails. My only problem was some ants in the room. But the weather has been very wet and then hot…so they were in the room. Wouldn’t deter me from staying there again, it was just want I needed for my trip.

before we arrived, we received a call asking if we’d like to be upgraded to a king suite. as I was traveling with my teenage daughter, we opted to keep our dual queen room. We asked for top floor and we’re pleased with how updated the room was. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom had been recently updated to a spa-style with three shower heads including a rain head. As my daughter got off the airplane with a chest cold setting in, we were grateful for the spa-like bath to help her feel better.

It is very close to the freeway and across the street from a busy gas/service station. In spite of the proximity to both, the noise level isn’t excessive. While it wasn’t an issue for us, it should be noted that there is no elevator, so the second floor is not accessible for those who can’t navigate stairs.

The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the coffee, microwave and USB plugs in the room. The bath was pretty, and had a cool double shower option. Breakfast was ok (basically waffle or toast or cereal, and yogurt, light on protein) and they had trays so you could take it back to your room

Breakfast was a bonus, only "continental" but plenty of choice.

2 Queen size single beds took up 90% of the room, unable to move around easily, booked for 2 people but only 1 chair in room, had to sit on the beds to to see tv or even have a chat with each other...2 normal single beds would be be a better idea.

Location is good, hotel was clean. Price was great for the area. The bed was comfortable. I was happy with my stay. For the price it's a great deal. Only thing that could been better was the breakfast I will list on the box of improvements. I did like the waffle maker and the fresh fruit.

Breakfast could be better, I only drink decaffeinated coffee at the breakfast room they only offered regular and the machine that offers decaffeinated you need to insert coins. The orange juice was just color orange juice. The milk container was empty in the refrigerator. So breakfast could be a bit improved.

The breakfast was the basic continental breakfast. Fruit, yogurt, dry cereal, milk, toast, coffee(no creamer), juice, waffle maker, granola bars. Nothing special.

No elevator. I would have requested a first floor room when I made the reservation if I knew there was NO ELEVATOR. There was no full length mirror in the room. The room was nice but the orange upholstered chair was gross and stained and looked left over from the newest upgrade. Room 205
