We arrived at this hotel after a 10-hour journey and were lucky to stay in one of the cabins. It was absolutely wonderful! The bedroom had a large, comfortable bed and plenty of space for our bags. The bathroom was spacious and stocked with a great selection of toiletries. There was a cozy living room with a fireplace and a big leather couch where you could stretch out and relax, plus a balcony. The kitchen was fully equipped with all kinds of dishes and utensils for any occasion, and the refrigerator was excellent. I completely fell in love with the sink — it was deep and super convenient to use. Outside the cabin, there were BBQ areas available. And all of this was set among majestic redwoods — simply stunning! The property also has a very clean pool, and the staff was incredibly friendly and polite. Thank you so much for everything you do. We truly didn’t want to leave. If we travel this way again, we’ll definitely stay at Casa Secoya once more — and we’ll be recommending it to our friends too. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved the upgrade to the cabin. More space is always welcome. The pool was clean and it was a nice size. Never got crowded when we were there. Super friendly staff. Easy check in and out. Close to Armstrong Redwoods, Goat Rock Beach, a Safeway market and eateries & restaurants.

Coffee maker didn't work. Bunk bed in cabin wasn't a real bunk bed only the bottom which was small but perfect fit for kids. Parking could be a little closer for the cabins as we had to lug all our things to the room. Our balcony/porch wasn't open when we were there. I think they were repairing it. That would've been nice to have morning coffee on and meals outside. Maybe next time.

Everything was very clean and quiet and the shower was warm with good pressure. They had little shampoo conditioner and lotion bottles. Very cute and comfortable ☺️

I took off exploring the town came back after the nice lady in the office was closed and then the TV on the room wouldn't work. I called 2 times but no one was there to help. They refunded me 25% the next day and was great about it. I would just say check your room before exploring! I would have rathered have the tv

Very clean, very cute property. The updated vintage style, and the nature around it, was a selling point. Location was a little remote, but near town, along the highway. It was convenient for outings via car. Near/in the redwoods.

Laundry services could be an awesome addition. My kids were so excited about the pool, and it was such a cute central area to hang out, but it wasn't heated. I get it, but it was so cold that their lips were turning blue from swimming there in July. The bakery that's in walking distance was pretty odd. Very sweet cake/bread slices & lots of confusion from the owner, who was cursing and shouting at all of the customers...sorta playfully and sorta wild and confusing.

The bathtub had jets in it so it was very relaxing and comfortable. The location was awesome.

Since I was visiting for work, I couldn’t check in during the day so when I got there at night time there wasn’t anyone to help me check in. I didn’t get a text confirmation like they said I was supposed to so it was a little flustering being tired and not being able to Have someone to speak with.

The location is nothing short of spectacular, boasting convenience and charm in equal measure, while also being incredibly accommodating for both children and pets. The staff's courtesy and professionalism further elevate the experience, adding a touch of excellence to an already remarkable setting.

Booking.com's mishandling of my reservation was a glaring disappointment. Despite reserving a more spacious accommodation tailored for my family and cherished pet, a distressing glitch led to my allocation in a considerably smaller room after an extensive delay. This egregious lapse severely tarnished my entire booking encounter with Booking.com, leaving an indelible mark of dissatisfaction. Regrettably, I find myself uncertain about entrusting Booking.com with my upcoming travel arrangements.

A swimming pool with a view of the redwoods was a delight. Clean room with all necessary amenities. Microwave was useful to heat up croissants we brought along.

The bed is too soft, all body aches in the morning. Also the design of the place is not private: everyone walls right by your window or door, so you cannot open them to let sunshine or air in if you want privacy.

A nicely remodeled motel in a very beautiful location amongst the redwoods. Rooms are basic, clean and cheerful. Bed was comfortable.

Very basic room - bed, mini fridge, microwave. No desk, no chair, small rooms. Just for sleeping. No coffee maker, no free coffee for guests.

Easy to find. Property was inviting. Really dog friendly and accommodating for animals. Nice big yard area with activities. Pool was clean and offered a lot of lounge chairs. Rooms are quaint and cozy with a closet and hanging organizer. Bathroom was a good size and shower was roomy with decent water pressure and enough hot water. Plants and herbs covered the common space and are available to pick. It was a great location to get away from fireworks and allow my dog to relax for once over 4th of July. The hotel was quiet and even though it's next to the main road, there was minimal road noise. Overall and very nice experience.

The shades on the windows offered privacy, but having a sheer curtain that offers some privacy while keeping the shade open for natural light would be nice. It's either keep the shade drawn and block out the light to have privacy or keep it open so everyone walking by can see in your room.

It is very convenient for a large family. It is very clean and cozy.

One thing is bad. The front desk does not work on weekdays after 5 p.m., on weekends after 7 p.m. They give you their phone number, but they don't answer the phone. I witnessed how people who arrived at 9 p.m. were unable to check in. They called this number, but no one answered them.
