My expectations were low based on what we paid...but the place was comfortable...and really I think it's priced right for a place to sleep and shower and move on. But you don't always find a spot like that...another chain hotel wanted 340 and trust me there rooms are not that nice. We slept in our car that night.

Nothing...checking in through the window was a little telling of the area we might have been in.

This is where I stay when I come up for monthly meetings. I 'could' stay in Portsmouth but I don't like driving that town. (or paying those prices!!) This little motel is older, and not a five star resort. I was not looking for that. Every time I stay I am greeting with a smile, get a room with a comfortable bed and rarely hear the neighbors. The flowers around the place are lovely and I snuck a peek at the pool/sitting area and it looked nice. (too much work to do so didn't visit it) I leave before breakfast so can't speak to that. It's true that the property is a bit worn, they seem to be working on that but it takes time. But the beds have always been comfortable, AC (or heat in winter) worked good. Hot water...and every room has a microwave and dorm size fridge/freezer.

Traveled up for work meeting...left too early for breakfast. When I arrived the employee who was in charge of FD also was cleaning rooms. She greeted me warmly, got me checked in and gave me a room with a King bed. The Inn is older...and it shows in places. A bit worn in the furnishings. BUT every thing was super clean and it was quiet. I did hear people arriving, that couldn't be helped. But at night it was blissfully silent. The water temp in the bath was hot. The bed/sheets were lovely, I slept well.

Nothing. I mean, yes, they could use a bit of a refresh. But for the price range I was not expecting the Ritz and the FD lady and clean room, excellent bed more than made up for it.

The location was excellent--right at the junction of Rte 125 and Rte 16. So easy to find and so close to stores we needed for necessities. I needed help with the television (I am not tech-savvy) and the young woman who helped me was very personable and friendly. The room smelled clean and, because of the structure of the building, had windows in both the front and the back. While there were no dining facilities on-site, there were plenty of them in the area and a list of available dining places in the room.

I don't remember seeing a phone, or another way to contact the main desk if you needed help. When I needed help with the television, I sent my husband down to the office. There was no ice bucket in the room, so I assumed there were no soda or snack machines and didn't bother to look for them. Make sure to bring your snacks and drinks with you! There is a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in the room.

There was a small amount of coffee and a fridge along with two (firm) beds that almost fill the room. A clean bathroom and no extra services unless asked for. A perfectly humorous housekeeper and fairly tidy yard and pool.

Its cheap compared to other hotels/motels in the area

Unfortunately the room I was staying in for roughly 4 nights total didn't really have working heat but you win some and you lose some when staying here

It was quite like I had requested

They made me put a 75$ deposit down because I payed with cash and then tried to keep it! Stating that I smoked in the rm when I don't even smoke
