John and Steph are excellent hosts. The breakfast was outstanding including homemade preserves and bread. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and our room was exceptionally clean and beautiful including flowers. Their personal touch and attention to detail outstanding. The accommodation immaculate. Definitely highly recommended and I can’t thank them enough for our stay at Hunters Croft

This property and the hosts are just amazing! Friendly couple who made us feel at home , from the moment we got there , I cannot fault them or their beautiful home amazingly clean and cannot wait to stay again the price was good for what you get , An amazing clean room with everything you need the en-suite was stunning and clean! When I say clean I mean that bathroom could have passed as just been installed, so clean , nothing bad to say about anything!!

An idyllic b&b, the best we have stayed in in the new forest. A very warm welcome with tea and delicious cake. Our room was spacious and spotless with a really comfy bed. Breakfast was outstanding, from the cooked breakfast to the homemade marmalade and jams and the homemade bread. Couldn't resist bringing some home! We loved sitting in the comfy decking area watching the numerous birds come to the feeders, it was an absolute joy. Thank you Steph and John we enjoyed every minute of our stay and can't wait to come back and do all the things you recommended and we didn't get round to doing..... Sharon & Gary (aka Rick Astley)

The lovely friendly welcome of having our bags carried to our room. The pot of tea and homemade cake awaiting us in the conservatory on arrival. Homemade lemon curd and jams with our breakfast. Plenty of good quality produce for breakfast, as we sat watching the birds. We enjoyed seeing the baby lambs on site. Our bed was very comfortable. Room was airy and clean. Tea making facilities in our room, with a bottle of fresh milk in the small fridge. We would definitely recommend this place to stay and hope to return.

The shower wasn't very powerful. Some noise of cars passing by as property is close to the road.

We arrived to a warm welcome from our hosts, John & Steph. Our room was spotless & bright, with attention to detail to ensure their guests comfort. Our doors opened out to a patio, and garden, full of birds making the most of the bird feeders. Very rural setting, & yet, there are three pubs within a very short distance from the accommodation. (we had an evening meal at The Hare & Hounds, which was delicious.) Slept very well in our comfortable bed. Had a delicious breakfast, served by our hosts. Homemade jams & bread, plus fresh eggs from their chickens. Who could ask for more.

Stephanie and John were very welcoming and helpful, the room was lovely & spacious (and the soft toy cockerel even kept quiet during sleeping hours!) ..... and everything worked as expected. The breakfast was first class with plenty of choice and could not have been better.

Nothing at all, really. Just to note that I arrived after daylight hours and used a Postcode destination for Hunters Croft - so, my fault, but I suggest guests load a GPS position in their SatNavs as the entrance gate is a little tricky to find otherwise.

The welcome from John and Steph was lovely pot of coffee and homemade cake, just what you need after a long journey. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean and a good size. Breakfast was lovely we had full English with toast but could of had cereal yogurt and fruit. The location was good but you would need a car to get anywhere. John and Steph were very knowledgeable on area and recommended good restaurants.

Friendly and hugely welcoming hosts. It was so lovely to meet John and Steph, a real delight. It was great the get some history of the area and excellent recommendations for walks and places to eat. As the other reviews said, the breakfast was also a highlight of our stay. So delicious! And watching the birds whilst having breakfast was just joyful. A real gem of a place, thoroughly recommended to everyone.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was really clean and there were lovely little touches like tea and coffee in the room, a mini fridge with milk for the tea etc. They were also able to cater for special dietary requirements and they made it all seem effortless (sometimes, hotels or B&Bs can make you feel like an inconvenience for asking for special food - not here, they were so nice about it). Lovely people, great accommodation, highly recommend.

Exceptional in every way Steph and John had lot`s` of local knowledge break fast was good with a good variety to to suit everybody`s taste,Steph sell`s lots of home made jams and people rave about the lemon curd she had finished it for the season however the morning after my wife had asked she came to her at breakfast and asked how many jars she would like,she then went and got the ingredient`s and made it for her. What kind of service was that,we will definitly be going back. keep up with the good work and exceptional values which you obviously have. Brian and Teresa m
