Intersection can get a little noisy with cars frequently tooting their horns and the sound of sirens now and then. This is the only downfall.

Such an amazing place! First of all, biggest thanks to the fantastic receptionist Davide that is a lovely warm and entertaining soul who takes care of your perfect stay in the hotel and helps you with any question by heart. The room is super comfortable with everything you need- when you open the closet, a mini kitchen is hidden that you can use easily. The bathroom is spacious and with original Ortigia products that is a high luxury brand in Sicilia (smelled amazing and was a lovely add-on). The room itself was calm, no street noises, air-conditioned and comfortable bed. Another highlight was the breakfast that was included in my booking. You had the possibility to choose your order by a menu and it was full of possibilities. Loved the Bacon Sandwich and Brioche with Granita + friendly service. In addition the hotel is located in the city center, from Messina Centrale by Bus Nr. 100 only 5 mins to go. A lot of restaurants in the surrounding and a fantastic shopping street. All in all, I will definetely come back, felt super comfortable and safe as a solo traveller in this place. GRAZIE!

No wonder this hotel is always booked out it is exceptional in every sense. The attention to detail and cleanliness is evident in every aspect. The staff are welcoming, kind, informed and efficient I only wish I could have stayed longer. The bed, for those with back issues, is fabulous, firm supportive and so comfortable with a choice of pillows which is really helpful. I only wish more hotels modelled themselves with this level of thoughtfulness and SERVICE! Set in a peaceful part of town with easy access to trains and other transport. I can rate this hotel highly enough. Thank you I loved being there. Breakfast is simple but beautifully served with individual attention.

The hotel's design is beautiful; great attention to detail. The style and boutique hotel concept is spot on. The location is so convenient, the spacious rooms are tastefully decorated and the staff were very welcoming. Well done.

Breakfast choices need attention and improvement. At a 4 star boutique level, cleanliness needs to be prioritised more. A minor detail that did not determine our stay at all, but it may need attention - surfaces in our room were dusty. Again, it's not a big deal for us but it can be improved.

Everything … from the beautifully restored building, the lux rooms, great storage space, cleverly designed kitchenette, great shower room, lovely timber floors … it exudes a homely luxury! The gentleman on reception gave us a warm welcome and was so helpful in every way. The breakfast on top floor/terrace was delicious a la carte, served on white linen tablecloths and napkins by very friendly and helpful lady. Lovely roof terrace.

in a very noisy and busy road with no soundproof windows. the hotel bathrooms need proper Dr-scaling and for the money one pays this is not really worth it.

Excellent dog friendly small hotel with professional 24hr staff, wonderful decor and the best cotton sheets! We didn’t have a dog but they don’t discriminate and in walking distance to shopping, gelato, and the entertainment section of town which is beautiful. Plus an easy drive to the port in the morning.

Nothing to complain about.

This delightful hotel is located just a short walk from the main shopping strip and historic centre of Messina. The room was cleverly designed to maximise space and the generous bathroom was spotlessly clean. There was even a small kitchenette with coffee making facilites. The hotel is beautifully furnished with lush upholstered furniture, fabric wall coverings and oozes charm and grace. The roof top terrace is the perfect spot for a delicious breakfast.

everything was terrific - we could not fault it at all

I really enjoyed the breakfast and the location was good close to station and shopping area of Messina.

The shower head needed cleaned better as all the little spouts water not coming out properly. As it was a special occasion use of the rooftop bar would of been nice. Strange to not be able to have a drink there in the Summer.

Very nice, the room was better than expected, style and comfort, lots of amenities, very clean, and I was grateful for the elevator with our luggage. The location was great, right across from the main shopping street and about 10-15 minutes walk to the historic center of town. I tried the Sicilian breakfast of pistachio granite topped with whip cream, accompanied by a brioche. Very interesting, the cappuccino was divine.

The parking situation was confusing but eventually we figured it out.
