Enjoyed the breakfast and the cleanliness of the room. The gym and pool areas were clean and inviting. Overall a great stay. The value of the rooms was great.

We had trouble with one of our key cards. The receptionist reset it numerous times, but it still did not work. Could have used a second waffle maker. This feature is very popular. Did not like the fact that the hot tub was out of order. That part would have been enjoyable. Also would have liked a drop key box, instead of waiting in line to check out.

The location of this hotel was excellent for my needs. Fast food and casual dining options within walking distance. So is a grocery store. Easy access to the highway. No traffic or highway noise in the room. A/C worked great. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Their coffee was really good. Bed was super comfortable. I stayed 3 nights, then moved to another hotel to be closer to family. I wished I hadn't. This hotel was better and would have been worth the extra driving.

Nothing. I will book here the next time I come to see family again.

I am very leery of crowded places due to Covid so brought my own breakfast in my room. I loved the location of the hotel-very convenient to restaurants and conveniences and within walking distance of the church I wanted to attend. The pool was excellent. Room had all the features I wanted and quiet. Easiest least complicated heating/cooling system I have ever dealt with! Staff was friendly and helpful.

small quibbles-the desk lamp was broken and non functional, I had only one sm bar of soap in my room which had already been opened.

Because of my dog, I did not eat breakfast. She is a chow hound and would have been restless at the sight of so much food. I have stayed at this hotel many times. I grew up in Mechanicsburg, and it is convenient to several of my nieces and nephews' homes and the town itself. A major food store and a small shopping center are next door, and fast-food restaurants ring the hotel. It abuts the Pennsylvania Turnpike upon arrival and departure for New England via 283. It is also the best value among the nearby hotel alternatives. Finally, there is a sentimental reason. There used to be another hotel on the site, back up the hill, and the Wingate by Windham sits on the old pitch-and-putt golf course. I was a groundsman and greenskeeper there while in high school! Good memories!

Nothing that rises to any level of significance. Doggie comfort zone signs could be more apparent, but the grounds are generally not well-maintained. The aesthetics aren't awful, but they are in the lower quarter of hotels where I stay. Needs some landscaping and grass-seeding.

would have liked a few more choices on the breakfast buffet. Outside doors remained open and did not need the room card to open Carpets in the hallway need sprucing up. They are a little care worn I would have liked for my garbage cans to be emptied especially staying 4 days Put up more signs to guide travelers to the entrance from Windy Hill Rd

I went down a half hour after breakfast started and warm items weren’t there. Waited a while, staff was going back and forth but nothing was appearing. Coffee was empty in some containers and the one that wasn’t had a strange taste. Ended up going to a diner. This was the only thing that prevented a very good rating.

Sorry I put what I didn’t like above. I liked the bed and size of room. Due to young people being there and being a little loud I was told I’d be on first floor. I appreciated that thoughtfulness.

Minor point: Hotel has been there for many years. Because of great location on Gettysburg Turnpike and easy access to the Army War College in Carlisle, heavily used; carpets, hallways, areas are worn thru fair-wear-and-tear. Just needs an upgrade in the future. Never give up this location!!!!

Our room was clean and comfortable and the rate we paid was very reasonable. The breakfast was great, with many choices including eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, waffles and many more.

It was a bit challenging for us to get to the hotel, after leaving the highway More signage leading to the hotel would be helpful.

Breakfast was good and staff friendly and helpful.

Hot tub wasn't hot and could use a bit more cleaning. Some algae present but know that it does require a lot to keep clean.

Everything was great. The pool and jacuzzi, the beds, the breakfast. Close to a large grocery store. Right off the highway but very quiet. We would definitely stay here again.
